I wonder why the complications because your scenario is far from the norm.

At the time, we used a standard needle and tried to inject into the side of the penis as I saw done in pretty much every reference to it I saw on the web. This was really hard to do on a flaccid penis. It hurt like all hell, had about a 20% success rate, and depth was damn near impossible to determine. I gave up after a while because it got expensive and frustrating to "find the right spot" every time.

Last week, I decided to try again, and went to a men's clinic. They had me hold my penis (still 100% flaccid) all the way to one side, and then used an auto-injector to inject it as the base of the penis, at the line where penis ends and meets your skin. This worked the very first try, didn't hurt at all, and really did the job. For what it's worth, they wouldn't let me leave without knowing the erection was gone, so they gave me a shot of the antidote, same location (on the other side of my penis of course) and had the same experience. Didn't hurt, worked right away.

I'm curious if anyone has tried injecting at this location, and how has that worked out for you? Have you had pain/failure issues trying to inject mid-way?

I inject at the base or the bottom 4th of my penis at 10 and 2 rotating sides each time I don't inject higher because I have some scar tissue midshaft. Anyways had pretty good results at those locations.

How many times a week did you typically do the injection?

My uro told me to stretch my penis then inject. I inject in the lower half alternating between left and right.

I'd typically do 5-6 injections s week, so i probably accelerated my issues ,but i still had tri mix start failing after 8-9 months with a super quad mix which started to hurt like hell and not work well. Wish I'd not wasted all that money and went right to the implant like my uro suggested, but thats just me, alot of guys can go years and not jave any issues.
