Hi - I was reading this message board as I was prepping to start using trimix. There was a ton of useful here that helped me, so I figured I would share my story.
A bit of background info:
2005: at 42 years old I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure, although I was able to manage my high blood pressure over the years successfully. Admittedly, I never did what I needed to do to properly manage my diabetes.
2010: ED issues started, likely due to my uncontrolled diabetes. Low doses of Viagra solved the Ed issues, although over the years the Viagra dosage had to be increased to 100mg.
2014: Viagra no longer did the trick and I needed to transition to the maximum dosage of Cialis (20 mg).
2017: The “pills” stopped working altogether and my sex life ended.
2022: My was wife was “understanding” about my ED issue, however the lack of intimacy was taking a toll on our relationship. I was going to hit 60 years old in Jan of 2023, so in the summer of 2022 I decided to start to get my shit together “healthwise”.
I lost weight through diet and exercise and was able to get off my high blood pressure meds. I started using testosterone gel, which brought my testosterone levels up to normal levels, though with zero impact on my ED (I did not expect any change in my ED, given the cause was diabetes related)
2023: Started on TRIMIX after visiting a new urologist to discuss options (There were 2: TRIMIX or an implant)
TRIMIX formula: Papaverine 30mg/Phentolamine 1mg/Prostaglandin 10mcg.
Started at 10 units and increased the dosage until I had the desired results with 35 units.
This dosage gives me a hard on for about an hour that is stiff enough for both vaginal and anal sex with the wife.
Note: My penis size/width did not increase with the shots.
I am still getting used to having a needle stuck in my penis (my wife is a nurse and gives me the shot, so we have not had any misfires).
The rewards have been worth it, our sex life is back, and our relationship has improved.
Downside: I sometimes get a “deep ache” in my penis after the TRIMIX kicks-in, this lasts for a few hours after sex. If I do get that “deep ache”, I will have difficulty reaching climax.
My Trimix journey
My Trimix journey
turned 60 in Jan of 2023 and started using 35 units of TRIMIX: Papaverine 30mg/Phentolamine 1mg/Prostaglandin 10mcg
Re: My Trimix journey
To avoid the deep ache consider switching from Trimix to Bimix. The med that is in Trimix but not BiMix (Prostaglandins) is the cause of the ache.
The concentration and dose of Trimix you are taking is low enough you’d likely get great results with BiMix, just without the ache.
Talk to your doc. Give it a try.

55yo, NYC. ED started at 40. 50 units BiMix + Atropine (Pap 30/Phen 6/Atr 0.2). Prostaglandins caused aching. Doses increasing. A cock ring helps. Phallosan Forte tension devise to maintain size. Eager to talk about implant experiences.
