Hi friends,
I was diagnosed with venous leak over 10 years ago. Pills worked great at first but really much less well over the last year, even at max doses. I was injected with 10 units of Trimix today for the first time, got a boner which went down, but could be regained with stimulation. I went home and had sex with my wife, lol that was nice, and my dick was definitely stronger than on the pills, probably would have been even better with a cock ring. But due to the leak I'm sure that I am on borrowed time. My question is, for those who have been diagnosed with venous leak, how long have you been able to stay on injections? Months? Years?
Honestly I have been kind of depressed recently, and my mood just brightened when my dick got hard in the doctor's office. Really confirms how much this has been affecting me. Cheers all.

I use Trimix with 100mg sildenafil, after Viagra lost its effect five years ago. This has been working well, and as the years pass, I need a little less Trimix! My urologist doesn't know why.
I don't have any venous leak, so don't know how much of my experience applies to you, but you might ask your doc about this combination.

Age 79 in 2024. On testosterone replacement due to hypothalamus malfunction. (Attention depressed guys: low testosterone is a cause.) Healthy health nut but ED due to getting old. Like to keep enough cardiovascular ability to thrust for 30 min.

I'm just a year into using and I actually use less of a dose now then when I started. I believe it really is therapeutic in many ways especially if you work on the underlying problems.

I was diagnosed with venous leak in 2019 by Doppler ultrasound. I’ve been on Trimix for 4 years. Also take Cialis 5mg daily. I have used the same dose of Trimix. I stay hard for over an hour most times. Then it stays really full for a couple more hours and I can stimulate to another erection. Guess I’m lucky! I too think Trimix is therapeutic for venous leak.
Diagnosed venous leak. Going with injections rather than implant for the time being.
Re: Venous Leak and Injections
Well that is good to know. Venous leak is a weird condition to have. They say that the only treatment is implant, but pills worked for several years, and now hopefully I can get some mileage out of injections. Do you guys use a VED as well?

Hi Otter,
Just curious, my handle is Otter46, so was surprised that someone else went by Otter. My last name is Ott, but some call me Otter & the 46 is the year I was born. Just wondering if u don’t mind, what is ur last name?
On the injection subject, agree w some of the other posters, give injections some serious thought since ur first injection went well. I think u will b pleasantly surprised how well they will do. I started out w Bimix in ‘21, but my PA switched me to Trimix in ‘22. Have been so pleased w Trimix, gives me a great erection that lasts 45min to an hour. And afterwards, like ETGuy says, have a nice chubby that lasts around two hours & can get back to a good hard on w some stimulation. Speaking of ETGuy, he is a wealth of information, he and several other guys on FT have been such a tremendous help to me when I first started out w injections. Admittedly when I first started out w injections, I was a bit freaked out, but with the help from a lot of guys on FT, I persevered & was determined to give it my best try. The Duck was also a great help to me along w so many others, one of which has become a good friend. The guys on FT r here to help anyone that is struggling w ED & tell them what worked for them, this site is an awesome tool & the guys that r on it r a wealth of information & here to help out their fellow guys looking for a solution.
Please give the injections a chance, the implant will always be there should injections just not work out for u, just don’t rush into an implant w/o giving them a chance. Not to say that an implant isn’t in ur future, just as it is mine. I’m relatively new to injections, but so far I’m pleased w them & know that if an implant is in my future, it will always be there as another option, but as ETGuy says, for now sticking w injections (no pun intended). When I first started I was admittedly afraid of sticking myself in the dick, but amazingly, it really doesn’t hurt & the result is amazing & I think if u decide to give them a try, both u & ur wife will b glad u did.
Please keep us updated on ur journey w injections, should u decide to give them a try. My best to u on ur decision. Take care. If u need or want, PM me any time & I’ll help us w anything that I can to help.

78yo., married 55 yrs. Started Bimix injections in August ‘21, PA switched me over to Trimix 5-22. 31 Gauge/5/16” needle. ED drugs not working that well anymore.
Thankful for this board & the guys that use it.

Hey Otter46,
My username actually has nothing to do with my last name. The otter half-jokingly became my spirit animal during a psychedelic mushroom trip about 20 years ago where I spent a lot of time in the water, and I was born on the 17th day of the month. But always nice to meet a fellow Otter, and thanks for the advice!

Re: Venous Leak and Injections
For me with venous leak, pills worked 10 years. Injection worked 5 years. Now I am using pills+injections combo. After 3 years they fail about 1/3 times and 2/3 times to have sex is a struggle. Impslant is not in my plans. In my country there are only about 20 inplant surgeries in a year. That is done by 2 doctors. They use only AMS700. I don't believe that they can handle if there is problems during the operation. I will probably leave sex life next.
65 yrs, had venous leak all my life, sildenafil and other pills don't work anymore properly, using Caverject with pills.

Hey otter17
Good luck with injections please share your results with us
I am 30 yo and i will try daily tada + on demand sildenafil combo, i guess you started this regimen in your early 30s i hope i can get good 8-9 years like you, if it doesnt work next step i am thinking is injections. Even though all positive feedback from members with implants here among all age groups, implants are scary for young.
Mazzio, 60 is the best age for implant imo, with only 1 revision you may have satisfactory sex-life rest of your life, why are you so against it when injections+pills combo is not working? I wish i could push implant to my 60s, or even 50s or even 40s

I used Sildenafil for 20 plus years would good results and it still works to an extent but I tried Trimix and like the results better. I just didn't like the fact that you can't eat and drink or it diminishes Viagras effect a lot. I do think many people are to quick to jump to implants though.
