How deep do I go?

I see a lot of guys say they use 1/2 inch needles but it seems like thats kind of deep? Does it depend on your penis size when soft? Im on the smaller side while im soft so a half inch seems a little too much, I'm not sure though

Find a picture of a cross-section of a penis on the web. You'll see how the size of the cavernosa compare to the total size of the penis. That mental picture will help you "aim" for the sweet spot. Actually, given the brilliant design of the penis, it's hard to miss.

31 guage needles also come in 5/16 inch sizes..... that what i use. Just make sure you push it all the way in. I didn't one time and it stung like hell and made a big bruise on the side of my dick.

There has never been pain with plunger being depressed (go slow with that).

Yea I got 29g half inch needles at first, but switched to 31g and 5/16". Much better

Always use the smaller gauge needles, i.e., 30 or smaller. Most importantly, do not stick yourself with a soft/flaccid cock. Massage yourself until you get at least semi-hard. Stick the needle ALL THE WAY in.

There'll not be any pain when your penis is at least half erect. If you can't get semi hard, I suggest you get a pump for use just before you inject. If you have a pump, go all the way to a full erection. The harder the better. The needle goes into a hard cock very easily when fully erect. Feels great!!

I started out using 5/16"-31 guage needles but found them to be too fragile. They would usually bend so I worried about them breaking off. Also, I use an Auto Injector so it seemed like it took a long time for the syringe to empty. Since switching to the 1/2"-28 guage I don't worry about bending or breaking the needle and it takes less time for the syringe to empty. I experienced no injection pain with either needle.

I am using the 30 gauge 1/2'' and out of 6 shots I have missed twice, very frustrating. This past weekend my girl brought home another girl for my birthday I was excited but the shot missed and I used .75 after 30 minutes nothing, so I injected again .25 and got a semi useable erection. Any tips for not missing the mark?
