Another dissappointment...

Postby Mike Zee » Sat Oct 12, 2013 7:39 pm

Wife initiated activity today and I was ready! Took a hot shower and got sqeeky clean to allow for any and all sexual activity. Took my injection at .06 ml and started to get a rise fairly quickly. As long as I was standing, I stayed firm, but when I layed down in the bed I started to lose the hard. Wife lubed up quickly and help me stuff in what I had. Semi-hard in a well lubed vagina should be OK. Kept on stroking, but never got any harder in her.
Frustration!!!!!!

I'm getting close to the maximum injection recommendation of the URO 7.5 tri mix.

I'm thinking I should try a restriction band to help maintain my maximum hard...

Any thoughts or advice?

Mike,

Is that 7.5 mcg PGE-1 Trimix??

If so that is a very weak formula .. no matter what the Pap and Phent values are.

Suggest to your Uro to give you a new prescription around 20mcg PGE-1 30mg Papaverine and 1mg Phentolamine. That should get you back to using your .3ml syringes .. with room to spare.

My formula is 5.8 mcg PGE1, 18 mg of Pap, and .6 mg of Phen. I guess that is why I recently had to increase my dose to 40 units which lasts for only 45 - 60 minutes. I will check with my Uro the next time I make an appointment.

Mike.....

.06 ml is the same as 6 units..... a relatively small amount to inject.

I think you have quite a bit of increase available before you reach any 'dangerous' amount. There are guys doing 30 to 40 units of trimix; not that I suggest you go that high, but 7 or 8 units may be just perfect for you. We are all different. Why not try 7 units just for 'fun'.... to avoid disappointing wife. The "every other day" rule is kind of general I think.

Oho/Mike:

Well Mike is one of those metrically challenged folks (Aren't you Mike?). I had reviewed his past postings before I had posted because I thought I had recalled him being way up there in units and he is indeed up in the 60 units range .. not 6 unit. I now see that the 7.5 he mentioned must have been .75 ml max (or 75 units). OK Mike .. pay attention to the decimal points!

Mike, Doubling the PGE-1 to 20mcg would probably be a good thing to do and have the rest of the values stay the same. That is definitely something you could request over the phone and just pick up the prescription. That said, it will likely only get you down into the 30 unit range but you never know how a doubling of PGE-1 will really work -- could be Exponential Erection Increase (EEI !!)

But at least now you have an accurate prescription to shoot for. You can even mention all those 30 unit syringes that are too small for the current prescription...

Jim, when it comes to measurements...I am challenged!

Tommorow I have an appointment with a medical device sales person. He will be trying to get me to purchase a penis pump, with the assitance of my insurance.

I don't think a pump will help my condition, but I will be going to the "sales pitch" with an open mind.

Man! I want this injection thing to work! With my physical job, I can't seriously consider an implant!

And it will be a sales pitch for sure, if it's anything like mine was. And as soon as they found out my insurance wouldn't cover it, the sales pitch immediately went to a model that wasn't approved by Washington, for less than half the price.

The one I was getting shoved down my throat had a price tag of over $500, but the one (same make) without the blessings of a federal government seal was around $180. I ended up buying a different one for $200.

Although a lot of guys here do it, I would never bother trying to get laid with a pumped up, banded dick. It just seems stupid, but maybe if I had a woman around I would feel different -- although injecting seems to be the better option. And as others have said here, if you're just using a pump for therapy, a $20 sex shop pump will work just as well. I didn't find that out til after I spent the $200.
RP in 2012 because of prostate cancer. 100% ED, also some leakage problems.
