Title.
Basically my urologist isn't too helpful...
And if it is only via the urologist and I'm not being helped, you guys know of any online pharmacies with their own doctors that can help me out? I looked into Pollock Clinics in Canada but am willing to go across the border into Washington (Seattle area) as well (I live in Alberta).
Can family physicians in Canada prescribe Injections or is it only via urologist?

Cross the border, in the USA anyone can inject you Trimix
I had a trauma 2 years ago, caused me narrowing, dent and shortening. PRP injections three months ago=worse narrowing, and worse ED. Now I only have two choices: impotent or implant. Born in 1975, in a relationship with girlfriend fir 4 years

I initially asked my GP doctor here in Ontario about injections. He knew nothing about them. I had to tell him what I was looking for.
My GP then looked up Caverjet and order a prescription. The cost was $90 for two injections. No way I was paying that kind of money for something he was not familiar with.
I then search for a urologist that specializes in men's sexual health. I then asked my GP for a referral to that doctor. It took six months just to get a phone consultation. The urologist is in high demand. The phone conversation lasted less than three minutes. And the urologist agreed Trimix should work well for my ED.
My guess is the urologist you saw does not specialize in men's sexual health. I would suggest doing your own research and finding a different urologist.
Age: 68. Struggled with ED/PE for years.
Used Viagra for 10+ years with mixed success.
In May 2022 started using Trimix with very good results.
Feb 2023 developed PD
2023 still in treatment for PD, and still using Trimix with very good results

So I would schedule an appointment with a regular physician in the states and get it done, like at any clinic?

I think she's reluctant because I'm quite young, 30 years old, but without pills my erection is flimsy, and with pills, it is still sometimes hit and miss (though that could be psychogenic). It's just annoying to me how she keeps giving me the run around and telling me to deal with the anxiety. If I'm unable to, then I should be able to get some other means of help for my ED, even if ED is caused by a mixture of physical and psychosematic issues. I can ask for another Urologist, but it will take a long time to get another referral... in the meantime, the gf may just get impatient lol

Hello.
I too live in AB. I see a BHRT specialist in YEG at a men’s sexual health clinic. The Dr on staff prescribes bimix and trimix. As well as phenylephrine which you inject if your erection lasts over 4 hrs to make it go down.
Staff at the location will educated you on the use of each medication and how to inject.
If you PM me I can give you more detailed. There is a clinic in Edm and Calg. They do video/phone consults as well.
43yo Canadian with S1 S2 L5 L4 back injury, surgery left me with ED issues 12yrs. Been on a wait list for an implant for over 3 yr and still counting. The pandemic has created a backlog where I live and I was recently told I have a 9-12mo wait still.

She might be reluctant because of your age and is afraid you'll over use the medication as many do. Just tell her you plan to use once a week just to get your confidence back and that might work. Which I found out that really helped for me because the pills didn't work as well because of psychogenic reasons but once I got my confidence back with Trimix I could use the pills during the week and they worked better. Your mind can really mess with you.
