My story with injections. Used them years ago when I was a young guy to deal with performance anxiety (all mental). I had sex tons of times with the injections for a few years. This was before the pills came out. Once the pills came out, I went on them. They worked but hated the side effects (stuffy nose) but stayed on them anyway at lower doses for years. I had a psychological addiction to the pills.
Once I got in a steady relationship, I told her about the pills and tried to stop using them. My g/f at the time was understanding about my issue and said she didn't want me to take the pills. I stopped taking them at 45yrs old and ended up not needing them. Once I was relaxed around my g/f and she knew about my "issues", I rarely had trouble getting/staying hard. And stopped the pills for around 3 yrs until we split up.
I'm single now again and use the pills in the beginning of relationships or for casual hook ups(rare) as I still have that anxiety early on.
I must say looking back, I hated the injections. Stayed hard way too long after sex. Often they caused pain/ached. Hated injecting my penis.
If nothing else worked, I would go implant or not have sex.
I hate injections. Will never use them again.

Whatever is best for you. None of the options are ideal but you do what you gotta do.

Performance anxiety is 100% a real thing and causes a self-fulfilling prophecy of ED.
Once you're convinced that you "need" the pills or injection to get hard or stay hard you go down the road of convincing yourself that you absolutely must have it and sooner than later your body is programmed to not work without it.
When someone tells you "Oh just don't think about it and you'll be fine" we laugh because that's simply not an option as the ED issue is now hardcoded into our brain.
Just remember you are coming into a forum where most guys here have severe ED issues and are looking to pills and/or injections for help so when you say you hate everything people come here to better understand it sorta comes off weird. Like glad you can work without it, but many of us aren't there yet. Im sure this wasn't your intention.
I do agree that being open with your partner about "issues" can absolutely play a HUGE role in trying to overcome performance anxiety.

Great Post and you nailed it. It's strange coming on a forum about injections and ranting that you hate injections.
Re: I hate injections. Will never use them again.
Understood. I hated them too. If I knew of anything else at the time that would have been my direction.

That was a strange post, especially for a first post. What was the point? Whatever! I hope he's happy. There's certainly no one that's going to try and talk him into injections if he doesn't want them, especially as he doesn't seem to need them.

I love injections, specially for hookups. I pump then inject and fuck the shit out of a girl for a long time. Leave them remembering my dick forever. They're awesome. That's why pornstars use them.

Congrats to being functional without pills even! Good thing you didn’t go for an implant back in the 90’s then
Re: I hate injections. Will never use them again.
Yeah, count me in on the “I love them” boat because I use them and I fuck the shit out of the wife. She gets the deep dick and asks for more. Thanks to the injections I can do that.
