Lost erection during sex on Trimix

Hi all,

I recently started using Trimix after taking viagra and cialis for several years. They eventually stopped working as my performance anxiety became too strong for them to work. So far its been working well but the other day, while having sex I started losing my erection. We took a quick break so I could get hard to have sex again but lost it again after several minutes. My erection did come back but we are done at that point and I was just left with a erection for two hours. Usually we will do some foreplay and give trimix some time to work its magic, but my wife was horny right then and there and wanted none of that. I did feel pressured and the anxiety did start to creep in before and during sex. I'm worried that performance anxiety might ruin Trimix for me too. My understanding is that Trimix works even when you're in your own head. The only other thing that may have contributed to it was that I was exhausted while having sex and that cause me to go soft. We haven't had sex in a long time and I'm embarrassed to say I got pretty winded.

It could be your tri-mix formula needs to be adjusted. You should discuss that with your doctor.

However, I'm going to guess you're having some venous leak going on too. Adjusting, or increasing the strength of your mix might help. Also if you aren't yet you might want to try some novelty/sex shop cock rings. Many guys find that some rings give them a nice boost. You'll have to experiment to find the rings that work best for you. Expect rejects. In my experience it always works no matter what. Me and the wife have had only a couple of instances where I shot up and then one of pissed the other off and there was no sex. Even as bad as i felt, it still worked. The only times it hasn’t worked is because I injected incorrectly and misfired. I was able to get an erection later but as usual I couldn’t keep it. Even after a bad night I still think it won’t work if my head isn’t in it but it still works. Check your injection technique is all i can recommend. I also use a VED to plump up and i also aspirate to ensure I’m in the right place. Just my 2 cents.

Thank you for the advice. This is the first time I experienced this and after thinking about it a little more clearly, we may not have not given it enough time to fully work. It usually takes about 15 minutes to get the full effect after i take the shot. We'll get into foreplay and give it time for the Trimix to settle in. My wife has her own issues with sex having hypothyroidism, and for the first time in awhile she felt horny and wanted sex asap. I explained to her that the Trimix takes a little time to work and maybe we should do some foreplay first but she wasn't having it, she wanted sex NOW, since her arousal can be fleeting. Normally within that 15 minutes I'll get hard then a little soft but after awhile ill end up hard as a rock. Since all this took place within that 15 minutes I was going hard and soft making sex less than ideal. She did enjoy it though and was satisfied which of course made me happy. After 15 minutes I was hard as a rock for 2 hours but she was done lol

Just curious what position where you in when this happened ? Trimix for me has always worked but when the wife is on top I can lose some of the erection. Never happen with me on top or doggie. It’s all about blood flow. I’m sure I have some leakage going on. With that said I wear a cock ring which helps. Still manage to have sex 90% time with wife on top. I’ve also been taking a 50mg dose of viagra which has made a bit of difference in hardness. Good luck.

It was missionary position. I think what happened is that it just wasn't completely in my system yet and I did feel a bit pressured to perform because she wanted to have sex immediately. For me, Trimix takes about 15-20 minutes to get the hardness i want and we slowly build towards sex until I am ready to go. That didnt happen on this occasion. However, I did get hard and was able to have sex but after about 5 minutes or so I was wiped out from going at it, and the erection went away for a few minutes, came back then went to about half erection. Several minutes after we were done, I was rock hard but she got what wanted and I was left with a two hour erection which was fine. She has her issues physically and mentally about sex so the fact she got horny and wanted to have sex was a pretty big deal and something positive.
