Trimx - Not FDA Approved? Suggest Alternatives
Trimx - Not FDA Approved? Suggest Alternatives
I read that Trimix is not FDA approved. My uro prescribed it to me but now I am having 2nd thoughts about it. Are there any alternatives to Trimix that are just as powerful but are FDA approved?
ED since 1996. Peyronies in 2012. PRP in 2013 and 2017. Dr. Brock, urology, NC, USA. Cialis and Viagra stopped working since 10/2017. Haven't been on Trimix since 3/2016. Will consider injecting it again. Will be prescribed testosterone injections soon.

All the three ingredients used in the Trimix are approved by the FDA for ED treatment. Typically, a pharmacy mixes those in the desired ratio of the ingredients, as prescribed by a physician. I would have no hesitation in using trimix at the recommendation of a urologist.

So the ingredients are FDA approved, but not the Trimix itself. Is this right?

Trimux is a compounded prescription
Its not a cookie cutter drug Each script has different ratios
Of fda approved meds
Oh by the way. I used them for almost two years. Takes a little timing
For sex but the injections worked great!!
Though currently nothing is working I am scheduled for an implant this wednesday.

And, don't forget that FDA approved simply means that the pharmaceutical companies which write the laws and pay the bribes have also approved the drugs. The FDA has approved many drugs that have had severe and unintended consequences. It's not your health, but your money that matters.

FDA approved drug is Alprostadil ( brand name Edex and Caverject). One should try this first before trimix. Some doctors right away try to prescribe without testing Edex or Caverject, may be for personal gains or commission from compounding pharmacies.

Alprostadil (PGE1) Is quite effective on its own. However, I believe the two other ingredients in Trimix were added to reduce the achiness often experienced with just PGE1. The other components in Trimix also help to generate erections using a different approach making it more effective for certain types of ED.

I have used Trimix injections for 3 years. I trust my Urologist to keep me from harm.
Trimix is, in my opinion, one of the most effective treatments for me. I think it depends on the formula used.
I have never heard of a death by trimix
