A new member here. 51 year old diabetic for the past 23 years. Cialis/Viagra dont work after working for a few years. General physician gave referral to urologist who hasnt called back-waiting for over 3 months. Wondering if I should try private clinic (Precision) in Calgary. Has any one tried these clinics and what is the experience and cost?

Trimix program cost in Calgary, Canada
Re: Trimix program cost in Calgary, Canada
Not unusual.
I live in Ontario, I had to wait 6 months for an appointment.
I dont know about Precision in Calgary.
In my experience, private clinics are high priced and often take advantage of men in distressful situations of ED.
Several years ago I went to a men's clinic before I had any health benefits, I paid $750 for a script for Levitra.
Several years later I got OHIP (Ontario Health Plan). My family doctor wrote the script. The doctor's visit was cover under OHIP. However the meds were not covered under with Ohip nor my wife's otherwise excellent health coverage.
Also the urologist, no matter who you see; Make sure they specialize in Men's sexual health.
I would call the urologist's office for which you have a referral. Ask two questions. First, ask what the wait time is for new patients. Second, ask if he/she specialize in men's sexual health. And if they prescribe penile injections, Trimix.
If they do not specialize in men's sexual health, I would call and find a urologist that does. And ask for a referral for that doctor.
