tri-mix
hi all , not sure if this is right place or not, my question is how often most men use trimix, i use .35 units about once a week and started about a year ago, is that to often , im trying to avoid scarring as long as possible. im 63 married and on blood pressure meds which seemed to cause the ed right after i started taking them.
Re: tri-mix
My urologist suggested 48 hours between uses..... I may once in awhile use it more frequently but for the most part I'm planning on sticking with the 48 hour interval.
Scarring seems to be highly personal.... I've read that some people have trouble scarring pretty quickly injecting but at the same time it seems like many men have injected for years and years or no problem with scarring at all.
I guess your best defense against scarring is doing a good job of rotating injection spots

Re: tri-mix
thanks for the answer, how long have you been using trimix and do you use a pump before injection?
Re: tri-mix
I've been using Trimix for about 1.5 years and have done about 70 injections.
I average using it about once a week. I vary the injection location spot and have no scaring that I know of from them.
There were a couple of rare weeks where I injected on multiple days in order to take care of my wife. There were also weeks when we were not sexually active.
In January I developed PD, however, I believe my PD was caused by using Beta-blockers since 2015 and not from injections.
My urologist never once suggested my PD was caused by Trimix or the injections.
I do use a VED, first as part of restoring my size from PD and now as part of injecting Trimix.
I now use my VED for about a minute to get a chubby. That then gives a nice target for the injection.

Age: 68. Struggled with ED/PE for years.
Used Viagra for 10+ years with mixed success.
In May 2022 started using Trimix with very good results.
Feb 2023 developed PD
2023 still in treatment for PD, and still using Trimix with very good results

There are plenty of users that use two to three times a week and many for to to 20 years plus with no scarring. I think once to twice is the sweet spot that way you don't build up a fast tolerance for the medication.

since i started trimix i was a once a week guy for about a year. after that the wife started wanting it more and more. that turned into twice a week for a month and then to 3 time a week for the last 6 months. a week ago we went to Jamaica to celebrate our anniversary and i used it 5 days in a row. once out of that time was a failure. i am up to 190 injections, if i have scarring, i do not notice it and the last two times i have been to the Uro, he as well has not felt anything serious. i use 3 to 8 units, erections last 3-4 hours. i always vary injection sites, i use a VED to plump up and i also aspirate to ensure i am in the right area. have been using trimix for almost 2 years. for us, trimix is a godsend and we have been have the best sex of our lives.
50+ yrs old. married 25+ years. hypothyroid, on TRT. 10+ years ED, viagra, cialis now 50% ineffective. now on trimix 2MG phentolamine/30MG papaverine/20MCG alprostadil
Re: tri-mix
Used for 6 years now, over 350 injections, averaging 1/week with travel, illness, visits, surgeries, layoffs, etc. Up to 2-3 times a week, with 2/week normal. That's typically because with anorgasmia, we go for 40-60 mins and she is sore and we are both wasted for the rest of the day. Got to get some stuff done between. I pump most days between.
NOT an MD. 72, M52 yrs, CenTX US. Inj since 12/2016, a yr after pills stopped working. Caverject for a yr. 1/2018 Tri-Mix at 30 pap/2 phent/60 pge @0.3ml, now 0.5ml 80mcg/ml PGE1. DE/Anorgasmia setting in since 5/2019, worse now.
