Bruising

Postby drobert14 » Sat Jan 01, 2011 4:54 pm

Injected this morning for my 4th time. I am using an autoinjector. Injection seemed uneventful but noticed a drop of blood after removing needle, then a slight swelling above the injection site. Had enjoyable sex but afterward still had slight swelling and then bruising at injection site and up to head covering most of that side of penis. What happened?

It sounds like you hit a blood vessel which will cause brusing. I have not used the autoinjector but the only people that have reported a bruise like that were using the autoinjector. It will go away in time but will look ugly for a while. Glad that you got to have your fun anyway.

Jeff - Thanks for the reply. Yes - still ugly but fading - but no pain or discomfort either. Guess I need to review the injection info/suggestions here in the forum and see if I can avoid the blood vessels in the future
