How to measure dose in U-40 injecton??

I have been using bio-mix and now I’m not getting u100 syringe here however U-40 is available so my question is how we calculate dose on U-40 syringe??

I’ m taking 18 ml in u-100 syringe.

So how much it in u-40 syring??

Any idea or trick (math)

The first question would be why? The U-100 syringes are pretty cheap. Buy some! I find it difficult to believe the U-100 syringes are unobtainable but the U-40 are obtainable. The U-40 syringes are generally for veterinary use.

OK, I believe if you divide your dose in U-100 units by 2.5 you'll get the U-40 equivalent. So if your dose is 20 U-100 units, then divide that 20 by 2.5 which gives you the equivalent in U-40 units of 8.

If the dose is given in ml then divide by 0.025 to get U-40 Units. So if your dose is 0.2 ml/cc, then divide the 0.2 by 0.025 to get 8 U-40 units. Or for a dose of 0.5ml/cc we divide the 0.5 by 0.025 to get 20 U-40 units.

As for your example: "I’ m taking 18 ml in u-100 syringe."

That has to be a typo. I'm going to assume you meant 0.18ml. So, .18 divided by 0.025 gives 7.2 U-40 units.

Again, never trust my math. I suck at it!

Just buy the correct syringes!

You wouldn’t beleive me but its true u-100 syring isn’t available on my country however you can buy u-40 or U-50 easily.

And people are using these syringe for insulin.

And I’m trying to get U-100 syringe, its onther long story.
