Does alternating the side matter?
Does alternating the injection site matter if you only inject once or twice a month? Theoretically you penis doesn't know if there's been an injection on the other side before the next one and scar tissue shouldn't be an issue if the injections are spread out on different parts of the shaft say twice a month. Thoughts? Mostly asking because my left side is much easier and has been more consistent

Re: Does alternating the side matter?
Good question; I don't know the answer. Seems like alternating would help to keep a straight-ahead erection if scarring does begin. I've always alternated and after over 350 injections I've learned my sides' idiosyncrasies and how to accommodate them: 1/2in needle here, 5/16 there, 4 o'clock here, 9 o'clock there, etc.
Age 79 in 2024. On testosterone replacement due to hypothalamus malfunction. (Attention depressed guys: low testosterone is a cause.) Healthy health nut but ED due to getting old. Like to keep enough cardiovascular ability to thrust for 30 min.

I've always heard to alternate sides.
To do anything else you are better off asking your urologist who prescribed Trimix rather than users like us who have no medical training.

Re: Does alternating the side matter?
I mostly alternate but sometimes a week passes between injections and I have injected on the same side....but a week later. Don't know if that's a good thing to do..
70 year old legally separated retired health-care professional. ED began in my early 50's. Viagra worked great for about 5 years, then had cardiac by-pass surgery and eventually moved to injections about 10 years ago.
