First Injection

Postby Charlie1! » Sun Jun 02, 2024 9:41 pm

I gave myself my first injection today.
It went pretty good I thought, hardly any blood, just a little prick.
Got a semi erection, not firm enough for intercourse.

Try again in a few days.

A newbie question, my needles have measurements 10,20,30,etc.
If my rx says inject.15 ml, I need to fill the syringe to 15, halfway between the 10 and 20 marks, right?

I'm not a medical professional of any kind. Anything I post is based on my own experiences at best and hallucinations and/or delusions at worst. Internet forum advice is likely worth what you paid for it, or worse. Always ask your doctor and follow his/her advice.

What does it say on your syringe package? If you're using U-100 insulin syringes then yes .15ml will equal 15 units on a U-100 insulin syringe. There are 100 U-100 insulin units per 1ml. So 0.15 ml equals 15 units and on a U-100 insulin syringe that will be the 15 mark.

Yes sir, U100.
I think I may have missed the target area, it was kinda strange giving myself a shot for the first time.
Especially there lol.
It was hard to press the syringe to start with, I pulled it back and tried again, it was easier.

You're in the right place, the corpus cavernosum, if it's NOT hard to push the plunger, and if there's no pain when the fluid comes out of the needle.
