Hey brother,Semper Fi, can I ask what this is for? What does your prescription say, and directions on the prescription.

Papav-Phentolamine-Alprostadil 30-2-0.02 MG/ML solution, this is the solution of the 3 different ingredients of the bottle. By your post you are to take .5ml for ED when needed. I am a diabetic and pulled out a syringe and what I have are 3 ml syringes and marked in .1ml increments. Do you have a special syringe you are drawing the solution with?

1cc is the same as 1ml, same volume, you only need .5ml. so if it's a 1ml syringe totally 1ml, then the one side that you say are in 10s count then they must be .1 increments, so just go to the 5th line. (.5). I hope this helps, if not reach out to your doctor or their staff and take the syringe with you as well as the prescription. Good luck and Semper Fi

I'm not a medical professional of any kind. Anything I post is based on my own experiences at best and hallucinations and or delusions at worst. Internet forum advice is often worth what you paid for it, or worse. Always ask your doctor and follow his/her instructions.
For human use we use U-100 insulin syringes (Veterinary insulin syringes are U-40). There are 100 U-100 insulin units per 1cc or 1ml.
Your mix of "Papav-Phentolamine-Alprostadil 30-2-0.02 MG/ML solution" would be more commonly written as 30-2-20. The alprostadil is usually written in micrograms (mcg or ug) while the other two ingredients are written in miligrams (mg). There are 1000 micrograms per miligram. Your mix is not the weakest starter dose but can get a lot stronger. https://www.unitconverters.net/weight-and-mass/milligram-to-microgram.htm
Reading your somewhat confusing post it seems clear to me that your script is for 5ml, probably in one vial and your starting dose is either 0.05ml (5 units) or 0.08ml (8 units) and titrating up to 0.5mg 0.5ml or 50 units if necessary. At the 8 units you should get 12.5 doses per 1ml or 62.5 doses per 5ml vial. It is much safer to start out with a weak dose and work up to a stronger dose slowly.
There should be hash marks on the syringe for every unit or at least every 2 units. The 0.08ml or 8 units will obviously be less than the 10 mark on the syringe. Probably 2 hash marks below the 10. If using smaller doses, then smaller capacity insulin syringes would be a better option. They are easier to meter doses with. They can have hash marks down to the half unit.
If your syringe is a 1ml/cc u-100 syringe it will say 1ml and or 1cc. As there are 100 units per ml it will have markings in units to 100. So having numbers every 10 units with unnumbered marks in between would be normal.
I suspect I wasn't very clear in this post. I'll try to clean it up later. It is important that you clarify things with your doctor. Badly screwing up on your dose could really ruin your day. Get clarity from your doctor on your starting dose. My guesses on what your dose should be are just that, guesses.
Thank you for your service.

You say the prescription reads 0.5 ml dose. If you have a U100 syringe, that would mean you would fill the syringe to the half way point. In other words, you need to inject 1/2 ml.
( also known as 1/2cc. )
Hope this helps.

I believe that the above is the correct interpretation, but I urge you to contact your doctor’s office to confirm.
I thank you for your service and wish you the best.
