strength of PG1

Postby davidk123 » Tue Jan 28, 2014 3:35 pm

I was using 50 PG1 for several years with pretty good luck. I went to get my normal refill and was told the FDA no longer approves that strength for some silly
reason. The most I can get is 40 PG1. My doctor sent in a prescription for the 40 as well as a trimix of 20-1-30. I tried the trimx at a lower dose(3ml) and it
didn't work as good as the straight PG1. Of course I normally use the PG1 at 6ml so I will try it again at a higher dosage but I am afraid of my erection lasting too long. I haven't tried the 40 PG1 yet as it is still on it's way.

Have any of you heard of this new rule by the FDA?

Hello,

I have not . I am interested in following up on this though. I currently use 20 mcg PGE 1 & want to go stronger or move over to Trimix. It appears 40 mcg will be my only option in PGE. United healthcare doesn't cover ED meds so whether its FDA approved or not matters not to me - I pay out of pocket all the same. However since I'm topped out on dosage ( 1 full cc ) I go through this stuff pretty fast so I need to maximize the value wherever I can.

When I thought I might need that high a dosage, I didn't know if I could justify the cost.
I probably would have cut down on the fun mornings to once a week.

I haven't tried the 40 PG1 yet but I suspect I will need more than the .6 I'm using with the 50 PG1. I'll let you know how the tri mix works when I try it again at a higher dosage. Perhaps .4 or .5

Update: Uro was willing to write Trimix script but suggested I stay with PGE 1 & up the strength first. I will be filling an order for 40 mcg from now on. I was also cleared to combine orals with the shots.

Trycx,

Let us know how it goes. Glad you are able to use orals and PG1. That has always worked for me in the past. Good luck
