injecting on non-dominant hand side, dosage, autoinject questions

Postby jayjayc » Tue Aug 13, 2024 7:14 pm

Hi all,

I am a newbie with Trimix. I'm right handed; first time I did 8 units on right side and must have hit bulls-eye because after 20 minutes got super hard (and really sore) for almost 3 hours...got scared of how strong and long lasting Trimix is. (I think penis would have exploded with 10 units!) On my second attempt I did 6 units on left side and was a total dud, but still quite sore and unpleasant. I thought I did the exact anatomical site left vs right, about 12minute/48minute positions about 80% towards base of penis, standard insulin needle about 3/4 of way in...so not sure if because going from 8 to 6 units made it ineffective or more likely I'm thinking I missed the left side shot somehow because injecting with left hand was very awkward.

Questions for the fellas with more experience:
1) how do you guys manage to inject correctly on the opposite side of your dominant hand? Do you have higher miss rate on one side vs another? Do you still use your dominant hand or use non-dominant hand?
2) I assumed 75% of an effective dose would still make it 75% hard for 75% of the time? Or is it a hit or miss ie not a linearly tapering effect?
3) Finally, doe anyone have any recommendations for getting an auto-inject machine? Which model would you recommend and how to get it?

I am excited to try Trimix but also fearful of not doing it right. The needles do hurt a bit so would really appreciate any and all tips on how to shorten the learning curve.

Thank you all in advance,
JJ

32 years of injecting before I went bionic. There’s not much associated with injecting I haven’t seen or done at least once.

The dose/effect is DEFINITELY not a linear relation. In my case once I reached a threshold level of medication I was going to get rock hard. The only variable was for how long. I saw no difference between a full dose and a third of a dose in terms of how hard. It’s just after 45 mins to an hour I’d lose my erection with 1/3 of a dose.

Of course I started with injections because in 1987 there were no pills. Once they came out, around 1997 or 98, I tried them and they helped but not enough. They say not to mix pills and injections….but if your doctor recommends doing just that in order to reduce the dosage of the injection it’s ok. That might have also had a bearing on the fact that after 32 years of injections I had no scarring, no fibrosis, when they installed the implant I was clean as a whistle.

I never used an auto injector. I did try to alternate sides. It’s not for the squeamish but what I found effective was going really slow. It wasn’t really painful….but slowing things down helped me stay in zone, I seldom missed and seldom bruised. After a while you get to where you know where the needle is by feel.

I do find it awkward to inject my non dominant side, and that is why I always insert the needle, and then my wife presses the plunger. It is a team effort, a sort of foreplay, if you will. :D

Practice will reduce the awkwardness. When I was learning, I injected solo two or three times a week. Now I can inject either side equally well with my dominant hand. (I think a lifetime of working on cars and machinery, reaching into difficult places, helps.)
Age 79 in 2024. On testosterone replacement due to hypothalamus malfunction. (Attention depressed guys: low testosterone is a cause.) Healthy health nut but ED due to getting old. Like to keep enough cardiovascular ability to thrust for 30 min.
