Making peace with Trimix for psychogenic ED...

The Firmtech device, while relatively expensive, would confirm physical vs psychological ED
Re: Making peace with Trimix for psychogenic ED...
I’m creating this as a follow-up to my initial post above. I’ve been continuing the Trimix journey for psychogenic ED with consistent “success” in terms of hitting the right spots with the right dose and achieving solid erections. However, sometimes I continue to struggle mentally with this being what I have come to. I know that no one else can tell me what to do or what’s right or wrong for me, but I’m curious what has helped others get over concerns about dependence, and how you might show up sexually without the injection. Has anyone had success making peace with your cock without Trimix? I’d be curious to hear some success stories from those who sometimes use Trimix and sometimes don’t, and whether the non-use days are good/satisfying (and what has helped with that). I still can have a decent response to Viagra when I’ve tried, but I’ve noticed more variability using it with vaginal intercourse versus oral or hand stimulation. In short, historically because of the way I used to be, I think my ego has some attachment to making my wife cum with my cock, and if I have some doubt about whether I can do that, crippling anxiety can show up. However, I’ve sometimes found that Trimix experiences can be less satisfying because something in me feels like I “should” be able to have “successful” intercourse without it (like it’s not me or something). I am in sex therapy and I understand that a lot of this is about mindset, acceptance, letting go of perfectionism, and re-framing, but there’s a primal part of me that continues to struggle to make peace with all of it. Any insight (especially from psychogenic/anxious types who have had some success navigating this) would be greatly appreciated.

I can sum up my problem with therapy as follows, at least as far as men are concerned:
You don’t have sex. Sex has you…
If you think about this, the more you talk about it, the further you get from the ego-dissolution that’s required for the basic instinct to take over. You basically have to remove yourself and let the body take over. Talking about it gets in the way.
Have you tried weed? I found it to be great for helping psychogenic ED, until I started using trimix and ruined my dick. If I had had a partner, I wouldn’t have needed trimix, but weed is tricky for hookups (e.g. how to get back home after), hence the trimix, which was a disaster for me.

A lot of what you're saying makes sense. I have tried weed and sex for novelty and occasionally use it recreationally and I enjoy it. I'm curious how Trimix was a disaster for you? Once I figured out my dose and technique, it's been physically great. I just tend to struggle a bit with my headspace sometimes.

Injections created too much scar tissue for me over time, as a result of which my corpora lost the elasticity required to expand enough to press closed the veins draining the penis to “lock in” the blood to maintain the erection. In other words, it created a “venous leak.”

That really sucks. I'm sorry to hear that.

Exactly the same story here. I had some leak on one side in the spring (dopplar report), but now I need a ring to produce any stiffness, even with injections.
The sides of my tunica are lumpy, thickened, and hardened, and the "core" at the base and down into the "interior penis" feels like rocks or something. It's still flexible, and injections can still produce amazing fullness, but of course I wish I could just stop ever injecting. I don't know which aspect caused it since I've used trimix, pge1, bimix, even the forskolin one... even VIP and B7 (peptides). It didn't appear for the first 6 months, but now seems to grow worse with each needle, however. (and they are always 32g or smaller)
I feel like I might be "doomed" to an implant already at 41 but now I worry the scar tissue/fibrosis I've caused will make the procedure more difficult.
soft glans since ever / some ED from youth now fairly serious ED after much use of constriction/clamping to achieve 100% fullness / sorting out TRT and delaying implant plans until all mental, chemical, and physiological possibilities are exhausted
