Has anyone experienced swelling from shots? I think I am applying the needle correctly but probably I hit a small vein. I have noticed not uncommonly that this is happening. Sometimes the swelling is severe enough so as to cause my penis to appear "distorted." It would surely be unattractive to a partner, because its a definite turn off to me!
Any suggestions or anyone have similar issues? I don't know if its "operator error" or just that my penis just hates needles!?

Do you get bruising with the swelling?
I've never heard of significant swelling, but I did get a local swelling last week when I really hit a vein.

Gleason 6 prostate cancer. Monitoring it for now.
Update: On my last biopsies the cancer wasn't found.

Yeah once in a while I get a bruise. I think it happens about one time for every 15 injections. I was thinking that I need to find a reliable mark I can hit most of the time so that I don't have to hope I don't hit a vein each time.
