Travel mini fridge and Invicorp vials

I’d like to go travelling for a few months and I’m trying to find a solution to keeping Invicorp at 4C.

Most of the mini fridges are for diabetics and the reviews are not great as often the temp sensor is located where the cold sections is off the metal wall, not the middle but where your meds go.

Also they are sized for whole insulin pens, I don’t need or want anything that big as I only need to keep the little glass ampoules refrigerated

There are those thermos flask units with a peltzier effect cooling lid. But they seem to mainly rely on the gel pack within.

Even when travelling around UK with work, there are very rarely fridges in the hotel rooms.

Has anyone gone on a long trip with injectables - how did you make it work logistically.

Hey bro sorry for the unrelated answer but how long have you been using Invicorp? (I am using Caverject but it is kinda painful and I miss sometimes the injection.) Are the erections rock hard and how much does it normally last?

The only option for keeping near 4C that I can figure is a large enough double walled vacuum container. You would obviously have to pay attention to the ice situation. But a quality double walled vacuum container can keep ice for a good 24 hours and more. Those little portable DC plug refrigerators can't hold those temps unless the ambient air temp is pretty cool. It's been awhile but I tested some of the vacuum containers and they held ice for a good 48 hours with an ambient air temp of about 25C. They were off brand Yeti clones.

I used to use a diabetic pack, but that's only good for 8-10 hours. A yeti knock off might work for up to 24 hours, if you can find one large enough. The issue would be replacing ice at least once a day, and finding ice in the UK isn't the easiest.

Just get Invicorp if you can. The difference is like night and day to Caverjet - that stuff is so painful and achy that I just can’t bring myself to use it as I can’t feel any pleasure just the Aching/ pain so it’s like I’m a step removed from what’s going on

Invicorp works really well(better than Caverjet) and zero pain.

Vacuum flask and ice. Invicorp does say you can’t freeze it due to Aviptadil being fragile.
I think with trimix stuff in US you can freeze if I remember.

It’s more a question of how you keep vials at 2-8c for weeks/ months. It’s why you need a peltier electric cooling unit.
There is that expensive one made by the doctor who found himself ina similar situation but it’s really expensive and really mixed reviews.

Thanks I'm going to try it. Can Invicorp stay stable for a few hours if I keep a prefilled needle for a date? I mean max 3-4 hours in outside temperature or it always needs a fridge?

I didn’t even think about how long they could keep ice, but it makes sense! On a trip last summer, I used an off-brand Yeti cooler for a beach getaway, and it kept everything cold for two full days, even in the sun! So, I totally get the appeal of those vacuum containers for keeping things at that nice 4C. If anyone’s looking to take their travels up a notch, I'd definitely recommend looking into how to Book Business Class Flights—it really adds a special touch! It’s a game changer for travel!
