Should we avoid Injections near base?

I, too have wondered about this. So if at the base ... then next question is top side or underneath side?

Top side are the nerve bundle, dorsal artery, and dorsal veins. You don't want to go near any of these.

Bottom is the spongiusum and the urethra. You don't want to poke holes in either of these either.

Side is best.

My urologist inject me a couple of times. First time and then on a dosage change. She injected me a little lower than I normally do but not too close to the base. She basically held my penis in her hand and injected right below her hand. It worked fine. Im shaved and waxed there so it's easy to see it all right to the base. She did say that if I grew my pubic hair back to be careful about going too high...above the hair...or hitting a vein if I couldn't easily see where the needle was going. Good advice.
