When to take sudafed and how much to take?
When to take sudafed and how much to take?
After how many hours of erection should you take Sudafed? And what is the maximum dosage one should take? Is there any protocol on how to use sudafed when using injections?
Venous like since I was 20 years old. Pills don't work too well. Thinking of implant in the future

You should really consult you primary care doctor or cardiologist if you're seeing one. Explain to them what you want to take it for and ask how much of an overdose would be acceptable for you to take for your intended purpose. It may be contra indicated for some patients and it can effect your blood pressure.

I agree you should ask your doctor that prescribes the injectable on how to take Sudafed based on your health, but I'm happy to share what I do. I use bimix and if I get a prolonged erection I take 60mg (two 30mg pills), at the 3 hour mark. This usually does the job of softening my erection. Once again, check with your doctor as Sudafed can raise ones blood pressure.
Note: Don't use the 12 hour Sudafed, use the fast acting little red pills.

Thanks for the reply. How long have you been using Bimix and is it painless? I an having an ache with Alprostadil and might switch to bimix. I am a little concerned about the scarring risk with Bimix tho

I've been using bimix for just over a year and I have no aching like you get from trimix or Edex; bimix does not use alprostadil that causes the penis to ache (at least with me it did). When it's a good injection I get erect for 1-3 hours and enjoy the entire time without pain. You should certainly try bimix to see if it works for you.
Regarding scaring, again, talk to your doctor. My doc told me not to worry about it as I use a small almount of units. Additionally, he did a sonogram of my little guy to check for scaring when I first met with him.

There is also a drug you can inject that will bring down the erection. Most Rx have it

Re: When to take sudafed and how much to take?
I heard a podcast called "The Penis Project" from the UK. They made the argument that you should take 120mg after 2 hours. Apparently, the UK dose for decongestion is 60mg and they recommended two of those. The dose on the box here for decongestion is 60mg (2 x 30mg) but these docs opined that priapism is a near-emergency situation that need not follow the routine decongestion dose.
