What size/gauge of needles are you having success with?

I’ve been using 1/2”, 30 gauge needles from the start and they have worked great for me. 10 years with almost 100% success.

My doctor gave me a few 27g 1/2” but Trimix hasn’t been working as good as it should. Was using 45 units of 30/3/20 with disappointing results.
Tonight I decided to try the 30g 1/2” with just 15 units and wow what a difference.
Seems I need the longer needle.

As written, the 30g is thinner but both are the same length. Is that a typo?

Left out part of the story. I didn’t like 27g so bought and have been using 30g 5/16 and it hasn’t been working great. Would get a lot bigger but not hard so it thought it was my dose.
But Yesterday I tried the 30g 1/2” with a small amount and got a lot better results.

Amazing how different people respond to TriMix. My formula is also 30/3/20 and I can't take more than 2 units. Even at just 2, I'll come close to priapism.

Last night I tried just 15 units with the 1/2 and it responded to different then the 45 units worth the 5/16 I got a little worried for a bit.

I have done probably 10 injections with the 5/16 and was about to give up on Trimix. Wife even said “ that stuff doesn’t work”

So maybe it wasn’t going all the way in?
