On Trimix #5 for a few months now. Dealing with psychogenic Ed for over 2 years therapy and pills did nothing for me though I’m on a 5 mg daily dose of Tadalafil not sure if it’s doing anything.
I’m pretty reliant on trimix now works every time sometimes too good around the four hour boner marker more of a solid chub at hour 4 but slowly goes away after that.
So my girl is super supportive 100% with me from the start of the Ed and through all the ups and downs of finding something that works and she loves the injections but she still misses the ability to get me there naturally. So she wants to try without injecting once in a while to test the waters. It will start off fine but ends with the self fulfilling prophecy of failure when the inner monologue starts asking me if my dick is hard or not.
My question is when you rely on the injections over time do you lose your natural sexual triggers or has anyone successfully gotten off trimix and returned to natural sex?
Does anyone attempt sex without the injections.
The first time I ran into the Ed issues I was mentally wrecked like life was over all I could think about. That kind of sting made me want to avoid sex the failure was too damn painful. The injections made it so I could enjoy sex again I could be excited and not terrified by the prospect of sex. So testing the waters without the injection seems less and less appealing as I go.
Psychogenic ED can you get off the trimix train after you’ve started

i have been on trimix for over 3 years and me and the wife use THC. i will get into the THC later but my wife has also felt like yours. we have been through plenty of ED that she now knows its more then slightly psychogenic. we have tried plenty of times and just as you say, it does not end well. like your wife, mine is also super supportive and even if i cant remain erect, she will still enjoy herself even though i am not 100% into it if its not working. i get plenty of nocturnal and involuntary erections, they just dont stay hard enough for penetration. we started using THC a year prior to going on trimix and we use it only for sex purposes. after she wanted to try without injecting, she suggested we try it without THC but still injecting and that still works but she and myself have come to realize, we like it too much to not enjoy everything we want. i know that the spontaneity is gone but neither of us has lost our sexual triggers. we know we have to schedule sex but when we do, we know its a sure thing and it always ends with me wearing her out because she has more orgasms than she can count. we started out once a week but that quickly escalated to now we have sex 4-5 times a week. I dont say it to toot my own horn (even though I enjoy talking about it here), but she loves it and wants it. if i can use an injection or an implant (if it comes to that in the future) i will do what is needed to make her happy. it has been over 3 years and we still get excited about sex. my wife will still enjoy herself even when i misfire. it is the act of intimacy that is important and that we both enjoy. to us, it is less appealing to think about trying sex without injecting but we will make due with whatever we need to do if we cant inject. for us using THC makes every (I swear!) time seem like the first time and the intensity is unreal. so for me, I do not see the likelihood of getting off trimix. just my experience but we thoroughly enjoy ourselves.
50+ yrs old. married 25+ years. hypothyroid, on TRT. 10+ years ED, viagra, cialis now 50% ineffective. now on trimix 2MG phentolamine/30MG papaverine/20MCG alprostadil

Just curious what is THC ?

Thanks for the response. Always appreciate the success stories I think we are both still in the infancy stages of this still grieving the loss of what was but very grateful for the available options to have a great sex life just different from before. Appreciate all the feedback, happy I found this forum helps the newbie’s navigate this horrible situation, really hard when it hits you because nobody knows it’s a thing until it’s happening to you.

Thanks guys for posting on this topic. Would love to hear from any other folks who entered the Trimix zone partially due to performance anxiety. I can go along for weeks or even months with solid erectile functioning on 7.5mg cialis daily, with a little extra Viagra thrown in. However, once I have a failed erection once or twice in a row the anxiety and stress come back like a train wreck. It can been really difficult to pull out of the "doom cycle". I have done it several times thanks a wonderful patient wife of 25 years.
Currently in one of those "down periods". Every time, I start to think about trying Trimix (which my doctor will prescribe). At age 57, I know that it would be easy to become totally reliant on it given its strength.
Be interested in hearing more thoughts on this topic... performance anxiety and sexual stress drives many of us nuts.
Thanks!

Re: Psychogenic ED can you get off the trimix train after you’ve started
This whole ED thing (for me, it's more anorgasmia) is psychologically devastating. When I have a good event, I'm on top of the world. After a failure, I become convinced I will never have sex again.
Born 1954. Diabetes, hypertension and atherosclerosis. Sildenafil is iffy. Tri-Mix (30/3/20 Pap/Phen/PGE1) a godsend pending long-term efficacy. Daily Cialis. Tried LiESWT, Botox, PT-141, Eroxon, QST, DUS, Vertica, cabergoline, psychotherapy+hypnotherapy.

Well said! I have had to train my brain to manage that line of thinking... ED seems like the end of the world in that moment, but you have to convince yourself it is not. But the anxiety and stress still sucks. I guess that is why we work so hard for these solutions.

Hey SKLA317, I have had no luck with pills for years although I have ordered some Mt.Everest pills. I am excited about the prospect but not holding my breath.
I would implore you to get on Trimix, my sex life went from zero to hero very quickly. My confidence entering the bedroom now is like a Matador going into the ring with mustard his sword.
My erections are rock hard and last over and hour. I have made my wife come over 30 time in one session. Never before. Go for the Trimix and you won't regret it.
Re: Psychogenic ED can you get off the trimix train after you’ve started
Hey BudW, thanks for the encouragement! I am sure I will take the "plunge" at some point with Trimix (pun intended). My challenge is that I can have highly variable erectile quality over long periods. I can go for weeks/months on just daily Cialis and perform quite well. Then something changes (stress, performance anxiety, hormone mix) and it is quite the opposite. I am 57, so was hoping to save the injections for down the road. Overall very good health, workout 5x week, on T therapy (Cyp injections).
