A question about drawing blood when injecting

Postby DonBecker54 » Wed May 07, 2014 5:54 pm

I've seen a lot of guys mention that they draw a little blood after inserting the needle, just to make sure they're in the right spot before injecting the Trimix or other medicine.

How does the blood tell you you're in the corpus cavernosum and not into skin or something else? Wouldn't you get blood from other tissue besides the corpus?

Thanks for any replies.

I've yet to see any actual evidence that this matters.
RP in 2012 because of prostate cancer. 100% ED, also some leakage problems.

I do it and sometimes I have good results without much blood going into the syringe. When I get a lot of blood in the syringe, it is always in the right spot.
I find that just a drop of blood in the syringe doesn't guarantee success. I also pull back on the plunger maybe a couple units worth to get a decent suction.
I also like Andy's method of feeling the lack of resistance when first injecting.
I guess bottom line is whatever works best for you is good.
Now, I have to learn to miss veins. I hit one this morning and never had a clue one was in that place. It doesn't happen often, but maybe 5 times in 130 shots.

I have been injecting Trimix for over 3 years..... and never worried about withdrawing any blood...

If I feel resistance pushing on the plunger, I just tip the syringe slightly and it flows just fine

Thanks for the replies. I asked because I've been having problems hitting the right spot. It's happened a few times lately, including on a date. I'm pretty sure that the problem is that my penis shrinks up too much, and it's too easy to miss the corpus cavernosum. Yesterday I tried getting a little excited first, so I had a bigger target to hit with the needle.

I think for dates I may try 25 mg or so of Viagra half an hour before I plan to inject. That way I should have a bigger target, even if I'm nervous.

Don , I have the same problem of being too small . I ordered a few packages of these http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005VJ ... UTF8&psc=1 I put one on at the base about twenty minutes before injecting , it gives a larger target , and holds the fluid in , I remove it when I get almost fully erect .
I have a little over 300 injections without a miss fire , I also use a 31g syringe , I push it in till it dimples the skin .

Good shooting Chuck
Radical prostatectomy Mar . 2010 age 63 , everything good except for ED . Have tried the big three pills , VED , and Muse , results unsatisfactory . My trimix formula is : 25MG Papa ,.8 MG Phento , 8 MCG /M PGE 1

I just might try some of the 31 gauge, 5/16" needles. I think at times I push the 1/2"er in too deeply, but it's hard to say.
Still healing from my last fiasco lol.
I put some old Iodex Salve on junior yesterday and it seems to help get rid of bruising.
Anyone ever use it for bruising?
The jar we have is probably 20 years old and seems to be too thick now.

Andy425: I agree with you. I was told to draw blood before injecting, and not to inject if no blood shows in the needle. I injected without seeing blood and got a good result. Moonman33
