A bad stab . . .

It finally happened to me, what I have read about here and there on this forum.

My right side has a lot of veins so I don't like doing that side, although I do alternate. I stabbed it earlier tonight and it felt a little funny, so I relaxed my hand and the needle pushed out just a tiny bit. I pushed it back in and started to push the plunger but it stung. I pulled the needle out part way and back in again, pushed the plunger and it really stung that time.

So I pulled it out and said the hell with it.

Apparently I didn't penetrate the tunica. FTR, I'm using a 1/2" needle.

Oh well.

Probably glanced off because you were not at a true 90 degree angle.
