Trimix became unreliable after radiation and hormone therapy — anyone else?

Postby jayjayus » Wed Nov 04, 2026 7:35 pm

Hi everyone,

I'm 62, had a radical prostatectomy in October 2025, followed by salvage radiation in August 2026. I'm currently on Orgovyx + Nubeqa.

I started Trimix in May 2026. Initially, my original formula (30/1/10) worked very well at 0.06–0.08 mL, producing reliable erections lasting 2–3 hours.

After radiation, severe penile burning and pain developed, so my doctor switched me to a modified formula (30/3/5).

The pain improved, but results became extremely inconsistent. Sometimes 0.18–0.20 mL produces almost no response, while one 0.20 mL injection caused an erection lasting nearly 4 hours. I had taken 20 mg Cialis approximately 36 hours earlier.

Even my original formula now produces little response.

I also switched from Autoject to manual injections and normally take tadalafil 5 mg nightly.

My questions:

Has anyone experienced reduced or inconsistent Trimix effectiveness after radiation or hormone therapy (ADT)?

Could switching from Autoject to manual injections explain these differences?

Did changing formulas or injection techniques help restore reliable results?

I'm working with my urologist and won't increase doses without medical guidance.

I'd appreciate hearing about similar experiences.

Thank you!
