TRI-MIX - Suddenly unemployed - No MD - No health care - No

Postby aloharainer » Tue Feb 10, 2015 9:56 pm

any advice or information on how to obtain a prescription for, and the compound itself, with out a health care plan. Suddenly unemployed, no health care, no Dr, no prescription, no refill on trimix. Any reputable entities on the internet that furnish the prescription and the compound? Or, what should I do - do you think?! Many thanks!

I guess you'll have to see a urologist to get the prescription.
The med price won't be all that high after getting the prescription.

From all I've heard, stay away from the gimmicky men's places advertised in the papers.

My Trimix cost $80 before insurance for 10 ml at Avella in AZ. However, you still need a prescription. Perhaps your doc will renew your old prescription without a visit if you explain your situation.

aloha,

Do you think you can run on just bi-mix?

If so, you can try bi-mix.com where they can supply you with 10ml bi-mix 'for research purposes only' of course. Frankfurter is one of our franktalk brothers here that runs it.

He is more than fair - allowing you to try before you buy - zero risk for you.

With no insurance at all, my trimix costs $100 for the standard 5 ml(?) vial. At 2x or 3x a week, it lasts me for months.

As other people on here mentioned, you'll have to see a uro for a prescription. And the uro will likely insist upon a checkup once a year or once every six months. One way to find a uro who prescribes the trimix would be to locate a compounding pharmacy in your area that mixes the stuff, and ask them what uros they work with.

The advice about avoiding those advertised men's clinics is sound, according to all I've read.

The last time I ordered it did take a few weeks before I got his attention ... then it shipped!

I guess send a message once a week until he notices...

Once,

I left messages at local compounding pharmacies. The response I got back was interesting. He said that he hasn't filled any injection prescriptions in about three years due to use of the oral meds. In most cases, don't most of us move FROM oral meds to injections? I read that often anyway.
