Invicorp & caverject question

Postby mlc2010 » Wed Aug 06, 2014 1:33 pm

Hello,
I'm a 29 year old guy with lifelong ED, hormones are all fine and I do get night time erections. I think I have severe performance anxiety, cialis/viagra etc do not work. I got myself some invicorp and injected myself, was easy and painless. I used a 30 gauge needle. Apparently you need sexual stimulation for this to work, but I got 50 percent erect with no stimulation. Any guys have experience with invicorp?

Would caverject be better? I have some 5mcg vials, would 2.5mcg be a good starting dose?

I live in UK, so trimix is not available afaik

mlc,

Thanks for bringing up that mention of Invicorp. Would have never know it existed.

Invicorp: Aviptadil
Chemical Formula
C147-H238-N44-O42-S

That's a bigggggggggg formula!!!

PGE-1 (Alprostadil) for instance is tiny in comparison:
C20-H34-O5

<< removed erroneous remark about Phentolamine -- but your vial does contain Phentolamine so that is good >>

So if you are JUST using Invicorp without added Papaverine I suppose that might end up being a pretty weak formula.

I guess the Brits do not like to have compounded drugs for some reason. I would have thought they were INVENTED in Britain. Oh well, your loss in not allowing them.

My suggestion is if you can get around British compoundphobia by getting a prescription for just Invicorp and another for Papaverine and another for just PGE-1 you can make your own BiMix or Trimix by drawing some from each vial making any strength BiMix or Trimix. You have two of the three so you are almost there.

That is what I do ( I have BiMix vial and PGE-1 vial and combine them in one syringe for any strength Trimix).

What do you think?? Doable ? You can certainly try with the two that you've got. The Phentolamine I think latches on to some of the same receptors as does PGE-1 but I guess they do not cause the nerve ache so combining some of each might get you a good erection and not as much ache as with PGE-1 alone.

Also on your Caverject dosage -- when I make up Trimix I am using between 12mcg and 20mcg delivered PGE-1 in the Trimix shot -- quite a lot. ( Along with around 7mg Pap and around .25mg Phent delivered in the shot). Your mileage will vary so the PGE-1 at 2.5mcg idea is very conservative and probably safe.

What is the Invicorp strength in mg/ml ??

Hello Jim
according to package it is 25 micrograms of aviptadil (vasoactive intestinal polypeptide) and 2 mg of phentolamine mesilate

It didn't really give me an erection, just a 50 percent chub, but apparently sexual stimulation is needed. Will caverject give me a guarenteed erection?

mlc,

Interesting that they list aviptadil separate from phentolamine. Turns out I relied on one little entry that placed the two together. Aviptadil is definitely a separate drug.

Phentolamine is: C17-H19-N3O
Mol. mass 281.352 g/mol

Not sure if that is the mesilate version or not.

But the good news is you have MOSTLY Phentolamine which is kind of weak, but does contribute to the vasodilation. How much by itself Idunno but they always include it in BiMix (otherwise it wld not be called that --duh).

Will correct my above post so's not to confuse.

If I inject 2.5mcg of caverject and no response, should I wait 24 hours before increasing the dose?

It hasnt come yet, but just would like to get everything straight beforehand

I am not sure whether anyone is still watching but there's a bit of mis-information here.
1) Invicorp is available from one pharmacy that I know of (P2U). It's legal status is "difficult" in that it is an approved drug but some GPs would not prescribe. This may change - a full licence has been applied from. It has to be refrigerated at 2 degrees. It has a short life (4 or 6 months from the date of dispensing). Trying to apply medical or pharmaceutical credibility to whether it should/should not or why it does contain aviptadil is not a good idea. Not many doctors would be aware of aviptadil or how it works so it's better for readers here not to drawer any inference. You can take comfort from the fact that it is prescribed by a doctor and dispensed by a large wholesale pharmaceutical company. In addition to avipdatil It does contain phentolamine mesylate 2 mg. I find the injection all but painless but not very effective.
2) ANY injection containing alprostadil is going to be much more painful. Talking about a BIG formula or a TINY formula is completely meaningless. I find 20 to 40 mcg of intercavernosal alprostadil effective but painful.
3) Of course we have compounding pharmacies in the UK. The issue is whether a doctor would issue a prescription for such a product. Probably not and if he would whether you could afford the price for one prescription to be compounded for you.
4) Both phentolamine and papaverine are available in the UK but since they are used for very little else other than tri-mix then you're going to have difficulty getting them.
5) alprostadil is now available as a locally applied cream (Vitaros). The maximum dose does nothing for me but using 2 x tubes has a moderate effect and is almost completely painless.
6) If you want to do your own compounding in your own penis that's down to you but i doubt that you'd get much clinical help. I had thought of it. I have all the ingredients!
7) As Invicorp is easy to find and Vitaros too then I would think that the safest option if you are experimenting is with those two. One injected and one applied topically.
