Re: who performed your 1st injection?
AT the mega urology office I go to in Birmingham (28 there 25 male) NOTONE MALE urologist does this-- 2 specialty female nurses work with patients.. Imagine how mortified I was to have to do this with a female as I am a LIFE LONG SINGLE MALE who has NEVER had a female partner. I thought I was going to have a stroke. She was very patient, caring and empathetic and we talked for one hour before proceeding....My appointment lasted 2 hours with not much luck from a first low dose trial. I returned 3 more times and appointment was about 2 hours all together. I had read everything and watched all online videos I could locate so was a prepared as I could be but having NO MALE OPTION was a major trauma to me. Again-- nurse was WNDERFUL TO ME----I was just incredible embarrassed to have her come in to periodically check and palpitate what was going on. I know it is her job and she was very good at it but at a practice that size at least one male doc could offer instruction one day a month for folks like me...I cant imagine new mothers having men for LACTACTION COACHES--there is DEFINITELY a double standard in regard to male urological care.....

Re: who performed your 1st injection?
I was very relieved when I knew my uro would do it. I sware I saw the needle go in but I didn't feel it. I can't say that about self injecting After 8 months my needle skills are getting better. My first dose in the uro office was 25. I got results but probably not firm enough for intercource. Of course the problem in the doctors office was feeling very self conscious and I didn't massage the drugs into my dick. The first time at home I upped it at the doctors advice to 30. Oh my--it was like I was 18 again. It went down in three hours and it made my penis ache. After several months now I've been able to reduce my injection to a lower dose and the erection is plenty strong for penetration. I love the dependability of Trimix. The pills just gave me horrible headaches.
Born in 1953. Robotic prostectomy in 2013.PSA 0 Began Trimix 3 years after surgery. Couldn't be more satisfied.

Re: who performed your 1st injection?
My urologist performed my first injection prior to a duplex color doppler ultrasound. The funny aspect was that he left me with an "adult" magazine to flip through for ten minutes to help the process along. Little did he know that at that stage of my life having a nude model parading in front of me wouldn't have caused an erection. But the meds eventually took control and the ultrasound was performed by a tech. That was likely the end of any modesty issues I ever had. Having a complete stranger handle my hardon and comment on its quality will always be one of my most unique memories. Since that time I have found that five minutes of massaging the trimix into my cavernosa does everything I could ask for.
Married, 66 yrs old, ED for 22 yrs. On TriMix for 5 yrs. Live in the Adirondacks of NY. Would be a nudist if it weren't for the black flies and the short summers.
Re: who performed your 1st injection?
My uro shot me first with a dose that's triple of what I use now. After about an hour he drained the blood and gave me a shot to make the erection dissipate. Next visit his female assistant shot me while demonstrating how I should do it. Third time at home my wife did it (I wanted her to learn). Since them I've shot myself. I've been exposed so much in my medical life that it never bothers me as to which male or female sees or touches me.
Retired. R.P. 2016. Bilateral nerve sparing surgery. Now use .15cc of Bimix twice weekly & anorgasmia, moderately incontinent. Wife no longer interested so go solo with Electro-stim using Erostek ET-312. Now am Type 2 diabetic.
Re: who performed your 1st injection?
My uro in an examination room. I was happy that it was her because I'd been very open about my ED issues with her, and besides she was an attractive youngish woman. She didn't give a lot of instruction but gave me a flier with information, including diagrams and a link to a video that I could use at home. She did ask that I watch her inject me and explained that she liked to start at very low dose. Said she'd be back and before closed the door she said I should "think happy thoughts".
I felt a warming sensation as my erection started just a few minutes later. didn't know if I was supposed to touch myself. Was expecting more "sex stuff" maybe even porn! lol. But just sitting there in a stark room, with a few squeezes I got an erection to show her when she came back. knowing she was coming back added to my arousal. 15 minutes later she reappeared. She looked me over, commenting that "it looks good. How does it feel?". I told her and she closed by suggesting I try 12 units , vs the 5 or 6 in her trial shot.
I couldn't wait to get home and called my wife to tell her to be there. A full 1/2 hour or more since the small injection I was still abe to have intercourse, not wasting that trial shot. My next shot, a day later , I did myself and have been for close to 2 1/2 years now. My wife was thrilled to see and feel how hard I got. had to call uro at home near midnight as was still erect over 4 hours after shot! She sent me to buy Sudafed and had me call her back to confirm erection was down. No problems like that since.

Re: who performed your 1st injection?
At a Mens Clinic, a uro did it. He and his male assistant were very professional, but very quick. They had me laying on the table with my pants down before I knew what was happening. Injection was basically painless. They left me for about 20 min, and told me to walk around. I could feel it getting hard within a few minutes. His assistant checked me about 20 min later. Said it looked good. Then they tried to sell me 100 doses at $20 a pop and gave me a "demo" on a (huge) rubber penis. The uro came back in and checked me again. Felt around and showed it to a colleague commenting that it was good and was pleased with my response. Drove home very hard. My wife was away, so had to relieve myself. Lasted a good 2 hours. Would love to try it again if I could afford it!!

Dr. Tom Lue at UCSF. I was 21 years old at university in Berkeley in Fall 2009, and I had been told that he was a world expert. After the first consultation, he had me do a sleep study. After those results came in, he injected me with some weaker dosage of trimix and used an ultrasound to diagnose my venous leak. He was very friendly and jokingly asked me if I wanted a "big needle for a big penis or small needle for a small penis". He had me self-inject the second time (performed a week later). The erection lasted hours and was uncomfortable at the end, but has given me a great sex life ever since.

Re: who performed your 1st injection?
Dr has me inject myself ..told me to let him know how that dose was and he'd prescribe accordingly..I left feeling like nothing happened and went to home improvement store..it got rock hard.... hurried home wife was working got undressed and climaxed ..was amazed it was still hard..Climaxed twice more in the 3 hours it was still hard...called DR told it it worked fine....quite using it some years later as wife lost most interest in it and $90 for one or two intercourses was too expensive.
72 MM married 48 years, live in Minnesota type 2 diabetes caused ed in my 40's went on trimix with great results but when wife had menopause sex got less and less so just wasn't cost effective so no sex since 2002.
Re: who performed your 1st injection?
Doc did mine in the office after going over the procedure, he used 5 units for test shot which gave me some positive results! He sent me home with a script and 3 pre-filled syringes 15/20/25 units to use to find my correct dose. My last shot was 25 units which was Amazing!
