Moving Up to 40-2-20 Trimix

I asked my uro for a stronger trimix and he refused at the beginning.
My current trimix is 30mgPAP/30mcgPGE1/0.6Phent
He mentioned that he could not go higher on Papaverine and increasing Phentolamine could dangerous lower my blood pressure. I finally ask him to increase my Pge-1 to 40mcg which he agreed but mentioned that the highest he would go and my next step would be a penile implants.
What do you think?

How much experience does your uro have with Trimix? Have you considered a second opinion? How is your current formula working for you? How would you rate your erections on a scale of 1-10? How many units are you injecting? How long does your erection last?

I am using 100 units, 20 minutes with an erection 8-9. My uro seems to have experience treating ed with trimix. However he told me I will be using the strongest prescription he ever needed to prescribe.

Hi Tigerbw. At 100 units you should certainly expect an erection that lasts more than 20 minutes. At an 8-9 in terms of firmness, you are certainly OK there. But 20 minutes is not a suitable length of time for most couples. I also use 100 units but my erections last more than 90 minutes. My challenge is moving the erection quality to 8-9 rather than 6-7.

A dosage of 100 units is pretty much the max anyone should inject. At 50 units I get about 45 minutes.

Some of the guys here talk about a "venous leak" of the medication that requires some of us to use up to 100 units, while others without the "leak" may need only 10 units for a satisfying experience of two hours or more.

Talk to your doctor about experiences your are hearing from other guys who are using Trimix. If the Trimix can't work to your satisfaction you may want to consider an implant. However, before doing that I would seek out a uro whose specialty is treating ED.

Sounds like you are a candidate for some kind of cockring .. or use what I use .. a velcro strap around shaft and all the way behind balls..

Do a search for Velcro to find my post. It will let the blood come in, but reduce from going back out -- which also keeps the PGE-1/Trimix from being swept out and so you will last a lot longer.

You can easily get a 110%-er .. so hard it'll hurt, but unlike getting that hard with just Trimix alone, with the strap you can adjust it tighter or looser ... and when done just take it off and let your erection go down as quick as it always does and you are done with it.

For me I can go maybe an hour without .. but can keep a serviceable hard erection going twice as long with the strap on and a nice handhold after that for my wife to hang on to...

There's no down side to trying it -- except maybe a little bit of swivel joint at the strap location -- not bad tho.

I was diagnosed with a venous leak a few years ago. I can get strong erections sometimes but they don't last without continuous stimulation.
I will try a cock-ring or Velcro strap with my new prescription this week. I will start with 50 units. I will keep you posted.

Hi all,
Thought I would give an update--
I started out on bi-mix--OK for 6mo.--then moved to tri-mix, started out very low dosage strength, 30-2-10--then went to 30-2-20, then to 30-2-40---now at 30 2 -80, doing 50 units, on all the other scripts I would start low on the units, and have to increase upwards of a 100 units.
Right now doing the 30-2-80 is OK--but think I may ask for the strongest of 30-2-120---I do not like having to do so many units.

My ED is caused by age 73, plus, blood pressure, blood thinners, ect--U get the idea.

For a fuller, firmer erection, is it possible to take cialis along with the injections?

Check with your urologist. Some will say it's OK to take the daily Cialis while also using Trimix. Also some people here have taken a Viagra or other pill an hour or so before injecting. Personally, I would not try that for the fear of a prolonged erection requiring hospital treatment.

If it's worth anything, I've been taking 5mgs of Cialis daily for BPH and ED for several years now....all the while injecting Trimix prior to having sex and have yet to have any problems with prolonged erections...I always have found that doctors are conservative with this stuff mostly because they don't want to be sued.I would be very cautious if you have had an incident with prolonged erections. You're probably more prone to it happening again.
