I've been using injections (with Edex) for over 2 years now with mostly great success and no problems except an issue with having difficulty reaching orgasm that was completely resolved by reducing the dose by some 40%. i get just as reliable erections with the smaller dose (10 units down from 16-18) but have much better, more natural sensation and am back to having reliable powerful orgasms. so I love my injections as does my wife.
issue/question: twice in the past 2 months I have gotten a fairly large purple to almost black bruise where i injected. The first one took about 2 weeks to go away completely. My urologist says it is nothing to worry about, just a blood vessel that I hit with the syringe. Now I have another one. Does anyone have any advice regarding bruising like this, mainly how to avoid hitting blood vessels in the first place. I've had no soreness and no pyrones, and now that my dose is down my erections resolve in a reasonable amount of time after I cum...1 to 1.5 hours, sometimes less. One reason for my concern is that i am a "naturist" into social nudity and I feel awkward having a big bruise on my penis! Not that anyone else even notices. But I'd like to avoid it . Any suggestions?

More likely, part of your injection went into the tunica, the tough membrane surrounding the corpus cavernosum. instead of the CC. Make sure you are not getting resistance in the needle during any part of your injection. The CC is like a big vein, very little resistance to the injection going in while the tunica is like tough cartilage, much resistance.

Your urologist is right -- really nothing to worry about. How frequently is this happening? If it is only once every few months or so, then it might not be a big deal. The only alternative is perfecting your injection process so you eliminate it completely.
I've tried everything -- pills, injections pumps -- and now I am at the final frontier.

Do you take any blood thinners or baby aspirin ? If yes, they might allow for these bruise spots even if you aren't hitting veins.
