Hi,
I have been reading post for awhile, gathered lots of great information before heading to the Uro myself.
Now I would like some help, My Trimix lable says: PAPA/PHEN/ALPR 22.5/0.83/8.33 MCG/ML
At 22/23 units, I can feel it starting to work, but little guy may start to react but doesn't.
At 25 units, 80% erection, starts to feel uncomfortable after about 35-45 minutes and taking Sudafed each time after 3 hours of erection.
So not sure how long it would last without taking the meds.
I know I need to get the formula adjusted, but not certain which way to go. My Uro said this was just the standard they start with and we can change it from there.
Thanks,
Ronnie
Suggestion on Rx change
Re: Suggestion on Rx change
Hi fl36
Welcome to FrankTalk. The usual scrip for Trimix that most docs seem to start out with is 10, 30, 1 (PGE-1, Papa, Phento), so your script is about 80% lower than that. Either is generally a safe starting point.
Suggest you try a few more shots at injects at same approximate level to get a good feel for how it is working. Every shot (like every sex event) can differ.
I would be real careful about raising the level tho, since you indicate a 3 hr erection. If that is really a full rigid erection than you might be prone to priapism. If you can bend your penis 90 degrees easily, it is not really erect, although it may be considerably thicker or larger than when flaccid.
Secondly, you indicate discomfort at 25 units (.25 ml). Using your script numbers, that is a little more than 2 mcg of PGE-1 injected. You may be very sensitive to PGE-1 and you may need to switch to something like BiMix, which leaves out the PGE-1, or increase the papa and phento without increasing the PGE-1 much.
FYI - I've been injecting for several years and it took a while to determine a decent mix. I am very sensitive to PGE-1. I get an ache with any inject that contains much more than 2.0 mcg.

Re: Suggestion on Rx change
Thanks,
The ache only starts after about half an hour, it is not as erect as my nocturnal erections, which (not everytime) can sometimes be like when I was a teen. So I guess the plumbing can work.
My concern is that the sort of "magic dose" last so long with out getting full. Yes gets hard, but not full length and definitely not full girth.
But afraid to try higher dose due to lasting so long and the discomfort, especially after an hour. I can lay on my back, (after pain has started) I feel fine, sitting up straight is kind of ok..
But standing, Ouch! Although it is just a dull ache, just scary because of the location is all.
Have tried 22 and 23 a couple of times, and of course slowly worked up from 10 in the beginning.
Anything over 17 I can feel it starting to work, and even 17 units will get a rise, but then goes away quickly.
24/25 I have used 4 times total. It will take me about 20 plus minutes to orgasm on this, which no complaints there, but the ache will start not long after. And I will be hard enough for another round, but get nervous about the possible pain.
So not certain if PGE-1 sensitivity is the definite culprit. But I'll see about increasing the other 2 with next refill and trying smaller does and work back up if necessary, does that sound about right?
Thanks again!

Re: Suggestion on Rx change
Sounds like a pretty safe plan! The dull ache is not really a problem. PGE-1 does that to me too. The ache goes away after a while and no detrimental effects. It becomes bad news when the ache prevents having a good time or having an orgasm.

Re: Suggestion on Rx change
They cut the PGE-1 in half, I don't have the bottle with me, but was told one of the other ingredients can't be increased, but they upped the other one.
I tried same amount of injection. It definitely worked, same erection, same 3 hours (and still took Sudafed to bring down.
But pain did not kick in until about 45 minutes with this dose.
Maybe the one they increased works well for me and I am going to try a lower dose again and work my way back up.
Of course I'll request a further decrease in the PGE-1 for next refill. Just hate to waste a $155 bottle.

You need to get a handle on what exactly your prescription is, if you want help from the guys here -- re: how much PGE-1, Papaverine, Phentalomine. Typical start dose is 10 mcg, 30 mg, 1 mg. (all per ml). They would decrease the PGE-1 and raise the Phentalomine. The Papa usually does not change. Try injecting about 10% less. That might help too. Everyone is different. Trial and error is the way to go.
P.S. $155 a pop is a little stiff. You may want to try a different pharmacy.
