Hi Dionffr,

So you're new to injections? Welcome to the club. Yes, it can take several months or longer to get the dosing and technique down pat. On the other hand, some guys master it in just a few weeks. Here are a few tips:

-- Practice frequently when you're alone and not under pressure to perform. Sometimes anxiety can cause you to not inject properly. The more you practice, the faster you'll master this.

-- Jot down notes after your practice "or real sex" sessions. When I would practice I'd jot down the time of injection, how long it took for the penis to start responding, initial erection quality, etc.

-- Don't be afraid to ask your doctor for a stronger formula. My uro started me on a very weak formula and it took three or four scripts before we got it right.

The bottom line is don't get frustrated. It'll all be worth the effort once you're dialed in. Keep us posted.
