I travelled with tri-mix for the second time this weekend. The first time, I carried a pre-made syringe for a 4 hours in ice and used it right away. It worked well. This last weekend, I put a 1 ml vial in a prescription bottle to water proof it, then put the prescription bottle with the vial in it inside an insulted drink cup filled with ice. This I put in an ice chest.
20 hours later, I emptied the insulated cup of water and ice and refilled it with ice as well as the cooler. 18 hours later, I filled a syringe with 55 units of trimix and took the shot. Erection city as normal and it was all good. This morning, i dumped the insulated cup again and refilled it with ice and drove home.
When I got home,I filled a syringe with the remaining trimix from the vial and put it in the freezer. (I fill 4 syringes at a time and put them in the freezer for instant usage)
The pharmacist that compounded the trimix told me that it would last three days in the refrigerator.
So my question, will it work now that it has been "refrigerated" for two days? Has anyone refroze trimix after refrigeration for a couple days? Thanks
Another tri-mix storage question
Re: Another tri-mix storage question
Your Trimix should be fine. Recommendations about how to store Trimix are all over the map -- including instructions from pharmacists. Some pharmacies recommend storing Trimix in the refrigerator. Many people who use Trimix swear by keeping it in the freezer.
I've read reports of guys accidentally leaving Trimix in a hot car overnight with no loss in potency in the drug. Of course, every situation can be different. If you're worried about potency the only way to find out is to just use it.

I've tried everything -- pills, injections pumps -- and now I am at the final frontier.

Thanks for responding! Yeah, that is the message I got too, that it is a lot more durable than what the pharmacists say. My wife gives me the shots and is very good at it, but is nervous about giving me the shots. I don't know if I can talk her into two shots the same evening if the first shot fails!

Good stuff. Your wife is a real trooper for giving you the shots. However, you can "practice" on your own using a male sex toy such as the Fleshlight and an injection tool called the Autoinjector 2. Feel free to Google them. Practice makes perfect!

My wife IS a real trooper. We make it part of foreplay (she dresses like a French nurse ..."Ok Seenior , time for your shot" . Sometimes the nurse has to plump up the patient for the shot ) She is very concerned about giving me the shot, but she has given me over 50 shots and the last one was the only one that was
There are times that I would love to give myself a shot, but unfortunately I have a big baby bump (say that three times) and would be doing it blind. I asked that question here earlier and was told it was a BAD idea. I don't mind giving myself testosterone shots so needles don't scare me but am concerned about doing this one correctly.

That was a pretty good link. I just use mono-mix which is straight alprostadil which according to the link is what goes south first. I keep it in the freezer although it's often not frozen solid when I take it out. When frozen solid it goes back liquid in about 1 min. I slurp it into the syringe and pop the vial right back into the freezer. I haven't noticed any degradation even in vials that go on short trips and are only cold and aren't frozen. I'll never keep it past 6 months though because I'll be into a refill by then so I can't comment on longer term storage.

Re: Another tri-mix storage question
Follow up to the original post. I put a vial in an insulated coffee cup full of ice. 36 hours after I put the vial in ice, it was cold, but liquid. I drew a syringe an got the shot. Erection city. Then I put it back in ice and Tom it home 15 hours later. I filled another syringe with the remaining...I am at 50 units. I put it in the freezer again and thawed it out and used it. Another erection. So bottom line, frozen, thawed, ice cold, refroze, and used it again. Success!!!
