Hi gents,
45 years old, been prescribed all the pills for ed. they worked when I was younger, but alas, no longer. So, my doctor put me on Muse. I'm SCARED TO DEATH of sticking something in my penis. Does it hurt? I really want it to work buy I get the creeps just thinking about it. Any advice or comments will be appreciated.
Thank you
Muse

45 years old. Have MS. Attempting muse for 1st time. ED pills have ceased to be effective. Considering implant but doc won't allow it.
Re: Muse
Bp
I have used it somewhat successfully in the past. Because it is just PGE-1 it will probably give you some good ache at least if you use enough to get enough erection to be useful.
It does not hurt when inserting, although you gotta be careful not to scratch the inside of the urethra. It can give a uncomfortable burning feeling because such high concentrations of PGE-1 radiates out from a tiny pellet for as it dissolves.
I still have boxes and boxes of MUSE but I dissolve the pellet to make injections.
Each pellet .. good for a single urethral insert can then make 20-50 injections instead. Pretty cool.
Give MuSE insertion a try maybe once or twice .. and keep the extra boxes in the freezer for possible use down the road when you probably go with Trimix shots. Can supplement Trimix or especially BiMix.

May I suggest that you create a signature. It makes things much easier to answer your questions without asking a lot of questions. Here's how you do it
Click on your name in the top right corner and select "user control panel"
Then under the big letters "User Control Panel" there is a row of words... select "Profile"
Then down the left had side of the "User Control Panel" select "Edit Signature" (You might have Create Signature or something. I don't know exactly what you'll get because I already have a signature to edit)
Most guys put something like what I have, but you can put whatever you want. Here is mine -
"AMS 700 (18 + 2 rte's). Implanted March 30, 2017 by Dr. Brock of London, Ont, CANADA. Great surgeon. Went in to septic shock and had to have implant removed April 29, 2017. Appt. for consult for second attempt is on November 6, 2017... I can't wait". From Belleville, Ontario CANADA.
Don't get too carried away with the doctor like his name, address, phone number, etc (anything that looks like advertising for him).. you can certainly say Dr. Jones (great Dr.)
If you need further help, please ask, that's what i'm here for.

Re: Muse
Hi guys.
Thanks for the replies. I will do the signature shortly.
Tried the muse toddy, 250 mcg. Was able to successfully insert it and administer the pellet. however, no result. A bit of ache but no erection. Was thinking of trying two 250 mcg pellets. Any advice?
Thanks, again. I really want to be able to have intercourse with my girlfriend. We fool around in other ways, oral and tactile stimulation and she's been very patient and understanding, but I really want to show her how I feel about her by penetration. may sound corny, but it's really bothering me.
Thanks for your replies.

Re: Muse
I never had any success at all with Muse, and it caused a fair amount of discomfort. For me, Muse = Must Use Something Else. Viagra worked well for several years, but eventually quit.
Dave, 80, Maryland - Implant (Titan) 2008 by Dr. Andrew Kramer (failed Sept 2020) - never used due to a stroke that, among other things, ended my sex life.

Re: Muse
I have no experience with Muse so unfortunately I can't be any help there.. But I also failed on all the oral Ed meds as well .. May I ask ... Why Muse ? Did u suggest trying it or did your Dr? I've heard mixed reviews on that type of thing so when my Urologist brought it up I respectfully declined .. Also have to ask ... Ever consider Injection? Only reason I asking is because I've been where u are and can relate as have so many others on here , I'm not that much younger than you at 43 my ED slowly but surely came out of nowhere and hit me with a "Bucket of what the fk" ! A robo cock was out of the question as I'm uninsured and just not in the cards at this point of my life ..If convenience is a factor I can tell u this .. I'm only less than a month into my Injections and by preloading a syringe and taking it with me I can discreetly inject on the fly in under a min ... And 10/15 min later I'm able to perform like a porn star stud !! Have Fear of a needle? I know I did... Never liked them , I can't even donate blood I hate the thought and feel of that needle! Never ever thought I could stick one in my pecker ... But Ed is a horrible thing and it was ruining my life and put my self worth and self esteem at a all time low.. But listen my friend ,. It doesn't hurt ... Scale of 1 to 10 it's a .5 not even a 1 ... I use a 31g diabetic syringe best I can explain is it's a 2 slight pinch process 1st breaks the surface skin 2nd breaks the tissue of the CC and inject the "Love potion #9 " It's magic my friend! NOW, if u read any of my prior posts you will see that my experience so far with injections has it's "corks" nothing major thank goodness lol so I'm told... but all in all Trimix has been a life changer for me.. So in closing I'm in no way shape or form trying to steer you in any direction , you choose your own method of dealing with your Ed my friend .. either way no matter which method u choose , your at the right place great group of guys here that are more than willing to give the best advice they can give.. I just wanted to add my 2 cents !
Sincerely
Frankenpecker

That's interesting that you dissolve the pellets and use as a injection.

Re: Muse
PBow,
Results are good and consistent. But plain PGE-1 solution does ache a little and it
Lasts less time than Trimix... Way less expensive even with the crazy prices for MUSE these days.
Lately I use a Velcro cable tie around cock N balls .. package ( see Fun With Velcro thread for details).
That Acts like a cock ring as you would expect and is infinitely adjustable to give more or less hardness. Oh and you get the Big Fat Glans .. which some people were lamenting about not getting elsewhere in posts.
It's all good...
