I was using 1/2" needles for a long time with great success. I did not insert them fully only about 80% of the length. So When I ran out I figured I will just order 5/16 needles. They are a little thinner too. But ever since I started using them my results have been very inconsistent. Misses, delayed reactions and bruises. So I'm going back to a little thicker 1/2" needles and just don't insert them fully.
If it's not broken don't brake it.
All the best!
I'm done with 5/16" needles!
I'm done with 5/16" needles!

Re: I'm done with 5/16" needles!
Whatever works for you. With the 5/16" needles I do have the plastic tip of the syringe indenting my dick substantially, which would make the 1/2" more logical. I just like the little 31 g needles.
R.R.P 2011 Mayo Jacksonville, Dr. M. Wehle. Not nerve sparing. C in margins. Radiation 2023, V.E.D, Viagra and PGE-1 (80mcg/ml) injections @ 8 - 14 units. Originally Edex20, then compounded PGE due to cost. Inject. 12 yrs. It works. Treasure coast of FL.

5/16 works great for me .. I hit the plastic hub and push a little deeper and I'm in the money.. To each there own , but I don't see myself changing anytime soon ... Its not a "one shoe fits all topic"

Newtoed,
Thanks for posting this. I am using an autoject with a half inch needle and it has been inconsistent. The needle only protrudes out from the end of the autoject by about 3/8 inch so maybe I am not going deep enough. Maybe I need to go a little deeper. Kind of worries me a bit though as I don't want to go too deep and end up in my urethra.
Cheers,
Flannigan

Re: I'm done with 5/16" needles!
I think the 5/16" needle is ok for manual injection, but not with Autoject.
With Autoject I set the tip so that only about 80% of the 1/2" needle gets exposed. That's the first mark on the turning dial.

Yep. That's exactly where I am at. I have about an 80% success rate. Seems to only really work on my right side though. I still have not found a sweet spot on my left side and I need to.
