Hi Dezmond,
Sorry to hear about your priapism. I'm sure you never want to have that happen again. One thing about Trimix is that it can affect all of us in different ways. For example, I seem to have a very high tolerance for the drug. When I first started out I was injecting 125 units (yes two needle pricks!) of what was admittedly a very weak formula. Even with the two injections I still could not achieve a really firm erection.
Now my formula is much stronger and I am down to about 30 units for an erection lasting 60-90 minutes.
It is amazing that one guy can inject and later be on his way to the hospital with a seven-hour erection, while another guy can inject the same formula and not much happens at all.
This explains why doctors offer the most conservative advice possible -- no second injections after a "misfire," no more than three injections a week, and always at least 24 hours between injections.
The conservative advice is meant to protect guys who have a low tolerance for the drug. On the other hand, my tolerance is so high that I can inject twice in one day or multiple days in a row with no problems whatsoever. I once injected twice a day the better part of a week while on a vacation and everything went fine.
Despite all that, the longest erection I have ever had is under two hours, which for me is certainly long enough for satisfying sex. It's important to note that you should not use my experience as a guide. Always follow your doctor's guidance for the safest possible outcome. The good thing is that you will develop precision over time. For example, I know how many units I should inject for a 20-minute quickie, or for 45 minutes, an hour, 90 minutes or two hours.
Keep working closely with your doctor to find the right dosage and formula for you.
Good luck!

I've tried everything -- pills, injections pumps -- and now I am at the final frontier.

My formula from the beginning has been as follows:
Alprostadil/Prostaglandin: 20 mcg
Papaverine: 30 mg
Phentolamine: 1.0 mg
My first injection of 30 units was done by the urologist in his office. Let's just say it was quite successful. I figured out right away that I needed to bring down the dosage. I went to 15, then 10, then 5, and a slow as 2 units. I figured out that my "Goldilocks" dose was about 5 units. Since then, I've gradually increased that up to 10 units to give me the kind of erection I want that lasts as long as I want it.
Now, we all know that a man's penis has a mind of its own, so sometimes Little G is slow to deflate. So I've learned all the simple techniques to get it done: pacing, warm washcloth, reading, etc. I have always had Sudafed handy but have only needed to use it once or twice. I have never had to go to the ER.
Of all the training tips from my urologist, once comes to mind given your questions: Never give yourself a second shot if the first one misses the mark or, for some reason, does not work. Or if you want to go for a second (or third) round. Wait at least 24 hours.
Finally, I must second what has been said already. What we post here is simply sharing our experiences. Always, always ask your doctor and then do what he or she suggests. Hope this helps.
Thanks for your input. It was very helpful. I need to dial down on my eagerness just a bit as that in and of itself can lead to another ER visit. Doc said that my problem was that I understand things a little too much and told me of another doc friend of his that would purposely give himself too much and would rely on antidote injections to “come back down”. Luckily my personality is such that I almost always ere on the side of Chicken. Lol. Thanks again

Re: ER visit for drug induced priapism
So last night I injected for the first time since trip to the ER. I diluted this time to 30% of original dose (which was 30/1/25). So essentially made a (10/.33/8). I then injected 4 units or .04 ml......at about the 6-7 min mark I had a pretty good chub and by approx 17 min it appeared to be making its way down. At the 30 min mark still full but what I’d consider flaccid. Probably could have used it for intercourse but may have reached maximum of 60 % erection. I was actually thankful for the results of such a small dose. I still have 20 units of this concentration My question to all those who aren’t doctors because I’m not looking for medical advise is if you were me and I had your experiences to evaluate, how much of the diluted mix would you inject next? My ultimate goal is not unlike anyone here. I want to find a dose for 45 min session and a dose for a 2 hour session. With all doses heading south by the 2.5 - 3 hour mark. How much volume would you work up to before changed to a 50% concentration of the original scrip?

Re: ER visit for drug induced priapism
I wouldn't go any more than 6 units. And as requested that's not to be considered medical advice as I'm not qualified to give any. I'd go with the doctors suggestion.
R.R.P 2011 Mayo Jacksonville, Dr. M. Wehle. Not nerve sparing. C in margins. Radiation 2023, V.E.D, Viagra and PGE-1 (80mcg/ml) injections @ 8 - 14 units. Originally Edex20, then compounded PGE due to cost. Inject. 12 yrs. It works. Treasure coast of FL.

Thanks for the prudent advise. I’m more confident than before that I will be able to find what works for me hopefully sooner than later without any more issues. Thanks for your reply!
