Withdraw the needle a bit. You will never get all of it, but most.

Not to be considered as a recommendation, but just the way I did it.
1. Thoroughly clean the entire vial top with alcohol -- even dip it in alcohol.
2. With pliers remove the aluminum band around the seal. (Just crimping a small section should allow removal by hand.)
3. Lift the seal and draw solution from the bottom.

Thanks oxymoron.
Interesting, I may try this. However it will only save a few cents. I think the pliers need to be sterilized as well.

I was wondering the same thing. I did ask the pharmacist and he pretty much said what you said, to pry it off carefully, but make sure you have a sterile environment and don't break the glass vial!
It's a one-time thing, as the vial will not be used again. I'm going to try it next time, as I may not have a full injection amount in the last vial. I have my refills, so it could get tricky. It's still fairly expensive as I use 60 units (0.6 ml).

ED worsened over 25 years, likely VL. Went through pills and injections, and results faded over time. Implant AMS 700CX, 21 cm, no RTE, on 6/3/24.

My heritage is mostly Scottish and my coin pure squeaks loudly from lack of use but even I'm not going to be prying off the rim to get the last partial drop of meds.

I get everything out by adding air and then slowly withdrawing needle while filling the needle.

Hahaha, no offense. Some of these posts remind me of my sister-in-law, who splits open the "empty" tube of toothpaste to get another couple brushes. She is notoriously frugal, so much so that when dining out she and her husband will order just one meal and split it.
On the other hand, they are retired school teachers, and probably have $2 million in savings and assets because of their frugality and a lifetime of successful investing off of school teacher salaries.
So, I salute you guys draining those trimix bottles to the last drop!

I've tried everything -- pills, injections pumps -- and now I am at the final frontier.

Yup, that'll do it
