So it's been going on for 3 months now. Very erratic erections. Over the last year I've been feeling like it took me a little more effort to get an erection but was always able to. Then 3 months ago it happened and during sex it went limp. Wife freaked out and we tried again the next few days and I couldn't even get an erection. Went to doc and got testosterone checked and it was 220. Started shots and it didn't help that much with erections. Started cialis and it still happened. Wife not doing well with it and so I got some Viagra to go with cialis. So tried that and minimal progress. Went back to a different doc and he gave me max dose of each said try that. That helped to have an erection. But it wasn't 100% hard and it wasn't that hard to begin with but eventually got there. So next week I'm starting trimix. Got 2 appointment next week for initial visit and then to show I can injection myself. I need something bullet proof and get back to performing regularly. My wife isn't taking any of this well. I think I have some Ed along with performance anxiety. Does trimix give you an erection without stimulation? Does it still go down easy?

Trimix is much stronger than pills. It will get you up without stimulation as long as you don't have venous leak.

Follow your doctors instruction to a T. You do not want priapism, no matter how good that sounds. Be patient, as you find the right amount for you. You will probably be given a weak prescription at first, but know that there are stronger formulas.

My problem is venous leak which means blood escapes faster than it comes in to the penis. I have had ED for 20 years and now have limited success even with Trimix. I am looking into getting an implant, but that is a last resort option.

Good luck, be patient, follow doctors instructions and know there are options.

I got an appointment later this month for a doppler. I just asked the doc if I could go ahead and start injections as we are tired of worrying about sex. Wife isn't fond of the idea of injections but at this point I'm ready to try it. I want a rock hard erection with no worries that won't go down for an hour. Hopefully this will be the trick

My typical trimix erection was 2 to 3 hrs. 30% of men have a reaction to the PGE-1 in tri mix. I did. It caused EXTREME PAIN for the entire duration of the hard on. Hmm well I really really hope I don't have a reaction to it. I'm not allergic to anything and didn't have any side effects from pills at all.

My Uro recommended trying Trimix before going through an expensive Doppler test. Turned out it worked great for three years until it became ineffective. Apparently, trimix was able to increase the blood flow enough to overcome the veneous leak. However, as the veneous leak or diabetic neuropathy became more severe, Trimix could no longer get the job done. But it was a great three years.
