How often can you inject?
How often can you inject?
How often can you inject Trimix? Aside from the danger possibly creating an erection lasting more then 4 hours and getting sore from lack of lube is there other dangers to be concerned about? My script doesnt say but I think the pharmacy said no more then 3 times a week? I'm pretty sure they are being overly cautious? Can you inject every day or even multiple times a day after giving your dick a breather in between? What are the dangers/concerns? I saw another thread a few months ago where some dude was a swinger with his wife and went to some club for a weekend injecting himself 3 times in 2 days to provide some serious stud service at the club after years of watching his wife having fun at this swinger club while he had ED? That story seemed so wild and crazy to me at the time but I could see myself wanting to have a weekend like that with my wife sometime. Not as swingers but perhaps an anniversary weekend get away with no kids and some alone time with the wife where we just want to screw the whole time.

Re: How often can you inject?
Here's an FT thread from March of this year. It discusses the range of medical advice on injection frequency, as well as the practices of injection users. It includes some users who, contrary to medical advice, have done two in 24 hours or three in 48.

I have read the link and think it's safe even twice a day! However, it's all about trimix. Is it the same for caverject? Can one inject caverject twice within one hour to maintain stiffness in a single sex session?

I think a concern is scarring, rather than Trimix. Injections are small injuries to the body, even though they are fairly painless. That part of the body will heal, but if it is injured often, the healing process can't complete itself, and the scar tissue builds up rather than goes away. And built up scarring can lead to Peyronies. Notice I said Can lead, not will definitely lead. As Tom Clancy once wrote in a novel, the problem with hard decisions isn't making them, it's living with their consequences.

Re: How often can you inject?
From all I've read and based on multiple discussion with my urologist, the standard practice is no more than 3 times per week. That being said, I experimented with every other day and then 2 days in a row, skip a day, 2 days in a row, etc. I even tried 10 - 14 days in a row without a break--all of that with no discernible ill effects and without the prior approval of the doctor. When I "confessed", he asked me a couple of questions about bruising, staying hard too long, etc. His final comment was that the standard practice is still the standard practice. But as long as I was having no problems, no side effects, then I was probably okay shooting up as often as I chose. To be clear, he definitely advised not to do multiple shots in one day. Still, I would guess that as long as you didn't have any ill effects, it might not hurt to do multiple shots over 48 or 72 hours once in a while. After all, a weekend at the beach should conclude a big grin and a sore pecker, eh?
Born 1948, wed 1969. BPH & Type II Diabetes at age 35. TURP-2002; ED even before that--diabetes. Cardiac valve surgery: 2007 & 2019. Poor results with pills. Started trimix injections in Nov, 2010. Great results from the very beginning.

Having a sore pecker from too much sex is a side effect I'm ok with.

If you inject every other day, can you use the standard ED drugs on your off day?
Re: How often can you inject?
I've injected several times - a few times during a single session when getting no (brief lift and lower) or little to no comtinued response, presumably from missing the correct spot \ cavern. Just started using Edex and seems not as potent as Trimix or perhaps Caverject. Does using a pump help build / strengthen or prevent scar tissue ?
60 yrs. Testosterone injections bi-weekly. Use Trimix, Edex or Caverject. (prefer Trimix). Pumping regimen since July 2018. My Trimix prescription is T-50(0.3) / PGE-40(0.15) / LIDO (0.1). (or Papaverine-phentolamine-pge1 22-0.8mg-8 Mcg/ml Inj).

The Edex comes in 3 different strengths. 10s, 20s, and 40s with the numbers representing the mcg per ml of the injection of alprostadil. I don't think it is available in a higher dose but it could be. Which one are you using?
If you're missing the spot you certainly need to work on that as multiple injections like you describe aren't recommended. I wouldn't want to be doing that often.
