Re: 8 hour erection / will I be ok?
It certainly isn't a good thing to do and it should definitely be avoided but chances are you're fine. But don't do that. Eventually you'll succeed in causing damage. Studies I've read haven't really shown damage in that time frame although they have shown blood chemistry that is concerning enough to seek medical intervention earlier if still experiencing a full erection.

Re: 8 hour erection / will I be ok?
You will probably be ok.
I suggest you practice every other they by yourself without the pressure of performing sex with your woman. Do this for a few times and just have fun masturbating. Once you get the hang of it it will be a breez.
If you are having any kind of issues with the manual injection I truly recommend getting an Autoject. It took all the guesswork and the pain out of my injections.
All the best !

Re: 8 hour erection / will I be ok?
I started Trimix a few weeks ago. I stumbled onto its existence looking for a solution to my ED problem. I'm 58 with HBP. I just had 2 stents put in 2 of my coronary arteries. Up until I had the stents put in I would say I had mild ED. I could get a fairly decent erection, but it would not last very long. I can also say with some certainty that some of my ED issues are HBP medication related and that the remainder were psychological. I had tried Cialis and Levitra with some success, but the side effects were pretty bad, and it didn't help with the psychological confidence issues. The first injection was given by my uro doc and lasted almost 12 hours. There was a little pain, but not much. The only uncomfortable thing was walking around for 12 hrs with a stiffy. There was apparently still good blood flow, and having a rock hard erection for that long felt pretty incredible. I had considered going back in to see my doctor after the 6 hour mark, but it was a Friday, and the office was closed. So, I decided to let it ride and go to the ER if things started to go south. I think the big issue is blood flow. If you are still getting good blood flow, even with the prolonged erection, and there is no change in sensation, I would say you are probably OK. I would also add to trust your body. If you don't feel right, go back to the doc or the ER. The initial dose given to me by the doc at her office was 0.4 cc, so I cut it down to .2 cc, which made it last 8 hours. Then I cut it down to .15, which got it down to 6 hours, then to .1, which still got me about 6 hours. Tomorrow I will be trying .08 cc, and will continue decreasing the dose until I get to around 2-3 hrs. That, I can live with, without it getting in the way of my other activities. I have not noticed any problems. In fact, I would say my ED situation has improved. I am going to try some pumping afterwards to see if that helps, and adjust my meds to weed out the ones that make the ED situation worse. After my stents were put in, my cardiologist put me on Carvedilol, which is known to have ED as a side effect, Plavix and Lipitor. Plavix and Lipitor do not list ED as a side effect, but the latest data shows that a large number of men experience ED after being on them. Even if I am somehow able to cure my ED, I will still continue to use Trimix because it makes me rock hard like a teenager every time I use it, and I don't have to worry about losing it. It has definitely brought new life to my marriage.

David, let me be the first to say it: HOLY CRAP. Did the doctor not warn you about prolonged erections and the damage that may cause? All of the experts say the 4-hour mark is vital. You way exceeded that. I'm not a doctor, but I don't advise you to go anywhere that long again.
If you do, try the Sudafed route first at the 4-hour mark. There are other ways to try before going to the ER. But if they don't work by 6 hours, I would be driving to the ER.
What is the Tri-mix formula he gave you? A weak mix like 30/1/10? That's usually the starting point. My uro first gave me Bimix, then Trimix at 30/0.5/10. I've moved up to 30/1/40, with 40 units doing the job.

FMLFML85 wrote:Thanks guys for the responses and reassurances. It has been 5 days since my 8 hour erection. I have had several erections since (pill assisted). I’m hoping to start injecting the trimix I got prescribed last week that has been sitting in the fridge since Monday. I’m a little worried about starting the trimix since I did recieve some large bruises from the procedure to reduce my 8 hour erection. I’m contemplating freezing the trimix but wanted to get my dosing down before hand.
Check the label, some say "Do not freeze". When I was using tri-mix, I got three or four viles and kept them in the fridg for 4 months and they were fine.

My Trimix comes from APS Pharmacy Palm Harbor, FL Plainly says, "Freeze upon arrival" on the overnight delivery box. I draw 5 or so shots and freeze the rest. Works for me.
Also, my Doc-- Not yours, told me that any release of pressure is a sign of blood flow. I keep that in mind anytime I cross 3 hours. No, I don't get to use my dick for 3 hours. Wife taps out way before then and my wrists get numb. )
