Hi there,

I am going for a penile ultrasound on Thursday, and being shown how to inject trimix.

Can anyone give me a idea of what to expect with the ultrasound / injection, I am concerned I might ejaculate while the ultrasound is taking place.

Well, it's not likely to be an erotic environment, so that should help. If you suffer from PE issues I'd just be up front about it and explain right from the start of the appointment that you have a PE dysfunction and because of that the procedure is causing you some anxiety. If you do ejaculate, be assured you won't be the first as I'm sure it's happened before. They are medical professionals and will just work past it. Finally, should it happen, just laugh and say "Well I warned you" and you'll probably get the medical person laughing with you. That should lighten the mood. With any luck you'll get some hot doctor as was described by one of the implant guys in one of his examinations and it will all be worthwhile. Just have a light, good-natured and humorous attitude about it all.

I agree that the setting will not be conducive to ejaculating. If you need these tests, you must have symptoms of ED and I just don't think stimulation will take place as easily as you envision. I've had ultrasounds with both a male and female tech, and neither person caused any anxiety or embarrassment. On the contrary, I was able to ask clinical questions and that changed the conversation dynamics from something I feared would be sexual to something more about what they were seeing on their ultrasound screen.
