I did a search on the term 'priapism' in this forum. Damn 332 hits!!!
A lot of guys did get a 4hour+ boner and some even went to the ER for a very painful operation.
Is it really that difficult to find an one hour dosage?

Re: So difficult to avoid priapism?
After doing a bit of reading, it would seem that for some of us there's no in-between on dosing. It either doesn't work, or you wind up with a 6 hour erection. Why I have no idea.
Re: So difficult to avoid priapism?
Are you ready for some marathon sex? Trimix is great stuff and can make your erection invincible for a while making you feel like a super hero tearing up some pussy over and over again or ready for a swingers party but does require some schooling to use it properly. A single dose can easily be enough for your old lady and all her friends and bring smiles to all their faces... LOL RESEARCH RESEARCH RESEARCH!!! YES it is possible to only have a one hour erection and YES I've seen many posts where guys ended up in the hospital. Start your first dose conservatively in a doctor's office. From what I've seen most doctors appear to start their patients at 10 units. My initial 10 unit dosage of 40/30/1 at the urologist office was too much and gave me a 5 hour erection even after taking 120mg of Sudafed after 3.5 hours but I wasn't complaining. I think I had the best sex of my life that day tearing up my wife's pussy in every imaginable position we could dream up together in and outside our house. My urologist told me that I could take up to 120mg(4 - 30mg pills) to "HELP" act as an antidote for the Trimix. I highly suggest you get some old school 4 hour regular Sudafed(NOT the 12 or 24 hour crap) and take 120mg after having a solid erection for 2 hours until you're comfortable with the dosage you're using, don't wait until 4 hours has passed before doing something about it. I've seen posts where some Trimix compounding pharmacies will/can give you some kind of injectable antidote which probably is better then the Sudafed. IMHO many newbies are not really intimate on the sweet spot the medicine has to be injected into or how to do it. This can lead to a lot of problems with dosages being increased and increased causing a Trimix overdose(erection more then 4 hours) when they finally do get the medicine into the sweet spot. I use 31 guage 5/16" long syringes and bury the needle in at 3 o'clock about 1 to 2 inches from the base of my dick and switch to 9 o'clock the next time I need an erection alternating sides with each dose. I only missed the sweet spot once(one time too many) the second time I ever injected myself rushing to get it done. I researched quite a bit and now take my time ensuring I'm in the sweet spot. My belief is that 1/2" long needles are too long for most guys unless you are well endowed, don't put it in all the way or using an automatic injection device with them which allows you to set the desired depth of the injection. You need to inject the medicine into the CAVERNOSA tubes that run up and down the length of the shaft of your dick. I pinch the head of my dick with one hand and stretch my flaccid dick out and easily insert the needle into the skin of my dick and then the cavernosa is much harder to puncture(its still easy, just much harder than the skin) once the needle is through that second layer I bury the 5/16" needle all the way in. Make sure you are injecting into the right area before you start increasing your dosages or there could be bad consequences. Common sense should tell you that if 10 units gave you a 3 hour erection and the next time you used it nothing happens DO NOT try injecting 20 units next time. Read all you can find on how to inject Trimix and then look for more wherever you can and ask questions. Don't forget to put on your super hero cape and come back here to franktalk and let us know how you made out in your super hero adventures and possibly help other suffering ED dudes out put their super hero capes on and tear up some pussy!

Re: So difficult to avoid priapism?
No problem... glad to help others out here on Franktalk. After that first 5 hour erection on Trimix and that experience that went along with it, I was hooked and wanted to tell everyone I could how great it was. I was pissed that I had never even heard of Trimix for the almost 20 years prior of dealing with ED. I think it should be just as popular as Viagra and everyone should know about it. I have a great new urologist now who introduced me to Trimix. Still use Viagra on occasion but less and less. Love how fast Trimix goes to works, how well it works without the side effects that pills have, how much more reliable it is with lasting effects.

Re: So difficult to avoid priapism?
I've stopped worrying about priapism -- not that others should. I've found that I can take Cialis (generic version) on a daily basis AND inject Trimix for a boost on certain ocassions. Never have come even remotely close to priapism. Just another indication that there's no one-size-fits-all solution to ED.
I've tried everything -- pills, injections pumps -- and now I am at the final frontier.
Re: So difficult to avoid priapism?
I am stuck with either priapism or nothing. If I take 6 units of quad mix I get a 5 or 6 hour erection. If I take 4, which is the next lower dose on my auto pen, I get nothing. My girlfriend loves the long erection, but I have found the erection too strong. When it is so strong, I lose sensitivity, and it gets painful quickly, so even though the sex is long it is much more enjoyable with my rare natural erections.
Any hints on how to lower the strength and duration. Maybe tweak the formula or switch away from quad mix?

Re: So difficult to avoid priapism?
Well then use something besides the auto pen to inject with or get a weaker mix that allows easier manipulation of the dose.

Learning about other men's experiences, picking up tips about technique, and being motivated by success stories are invaluable ingredients in dealing with and overcoming Erectile Dysfunction. At the same time, we all need to remember that the diagnosis and remedy to any ED issue ultimately lies with the medical professionals.
I am fortunate to be one for whom the very first formula and the very first injection worked. Over the first 6 months, I experimented with dosage and figured out that X amount of Happy Juice gave me Y amount of pleasure with Z amount of discomfort. But prior to arriving at the pearly gates of Trimix, I went through all the other less invasive therapies. Over and over again, my mantra was "This is not an acceptable outcome." I am also fortunate that EVERYONE on my medical team: internist, cardiologist, cardiac surgeon, urologist, etc. were involved in and committed to this journey with me.
I was--and still am--very proactive about matters relating to my health, including the well being of my favorite body part. I have found that every medical professional I know would much prefer working with THAT kind of patient as opposed to one who moans and groans but does not seek answers where they are best found.
Translation: decide what you want: how hard for how long? If the brand/formula/dosage isn't giving you what you want, try changing those variables. If doing so requires visiting the urologist every month, then live on her doorstep. "This is not an acceptable outcome."
I figured out right away that sexual health is a major contributor (or detractor) to mental and emotional health. Chatting on this site is invaluable. That being said, solving the problem often requires persistence and certainly requires an unabashed commitment to "get it done and get it right." That, my brethren, almost always requires a medical professional or two.
Peace out.
