Thanks for the Note:

Yeah - agreed. But since I got next to nothing, I thought and was hoping it would be ok. (I have the antidote just in case). I just started using the 20's at full dose. (pretty much same as Caverject which seemed to work better even though I believe both are the same). But again, sometimes next to nothing (brief rise) and other times, quite a sustained one. ie. nice and firm, perfect and good for prolonged or multiple encounter(s) within 2 ~ 3 hrs or so. I have also used a small Trimix injection as a "booster" when needed since I can more easily measure the dosages from a vile depending on my desire and length of time I want. My Trimix states T-50 (0.3). PGE-40 (0.15). LIDO (0.1).
60 yrs. Testosterone injections bi-weekly. Use Trimix, Edex or Caverject. (prefer Trimix). Pumping regimen since July 2018. My Trimix prescription is T-50(0.3) / PGE-40(0.15) / LIDO (0.1). (or Papaverine-phentolamine-pge1 22-0.8mg-8 Mcg/ml Inj).

My goal at this point is to concentrate on 1" out and injections that go in smooth and even between 9 & 11 and 1 & 3 which seems to be the consensus.. Also - I need to maybe test the "blood" theory I read here stating that if blood is drawn, you are in the right cavern. The other problem might be depth which is harder yet to gauge.

I'm not a doctor or medical professional of any kind. Anything I post is based only on my own experiences at best and delusions at worst. Always ask your doctor and follow his/her advice.

You don't seem to have perfected your injection technique yet. Depending on what you're working with, flaccid wise, it might be easier to go out a little farther than an inch. As far as where on the "clock" I'd recommend staying with the 2-3 / 9-10 and avoid the 1 and 11 positions until you gain more experience. Make sure you're then drilling toward the center line. As far as determining depth I go by plunger resistance and will be the only thing you'll have to go by when using Edex as there's no withdrawing the plunger with those. If you get more than just a little plunger resistance try a little deeper or back out a tad. One or the other should work. Never inject against more noticeable resistance.

I'm kind of a dummy but I don't quite understand your mix "My Trimix states T-50 (0.3). PGE-40 (0.15). LIDO (0.1)". What is the T-50? I get the PGE. What's the LIDO? Lidocaine? I believe I've read of adding lidocaine to suppress the PGE ache some guys experience. But then it no longer sounds like a Tri-mix.

Good luck

I inject 3-4 times a week, including some for masturbation. On a vacation I am comfortable with injecting 2-3 times a 24-hour period. Never had any problems.
I've tried everything -- pills, injections pumps -- and now I am at the final frontier.

Just started using Edex and seems not as potent as Trimix or perhaps Caverject. Does using a pump help build / strengthen or prevent scar tissue ?

The Edex comes in 3 different strengths. 10s, 20s, and 40s with the numbers representing the mcg per ml of the injection of alprostadil. I don't think it is available in a higher dose but it could be. Which one are you using?

If you're missing the spot you certainly need to work on that as multiple injections like you describe aren't recommended. I wouldn't want to be doing that often.

Oh I definitely agree. I'm using the 20 - the full dose of the Edex which does not seem to be as effective as even a portion I used occasionally of the Caverject - although both are the same formula I believe. Still experimenting though, as this was my first prescription of Edex.

A couple of times, I find that when I add a small - maybe 1/3 does of my normal Trimix on the other side, I end a potency which lasts for hours and I can really rock it. Seems like 1 (Edex) + 1/3 (Trimix) = 3. But I try to be careful and learn more which is why we are all here - right ?

Although my Urologist told me just yesterday (during my yearly check up) that I should inject a few inches up and down in the 3 and 9 o'clock position, best results seem to be closer to just a 1" position at thpse points out from the base .... She checked my cock and said I have no scar tissue, so knock on ....uh, my wood ! Universal Men's Clinic always said 10 & 2 positioning as I recall.

I agree with changing locations as much as possible. I question the standard 1" suggestion as wouldn't that be dependent on what the user has to work with, as in how long the flaccid dick is? I have about a 2" long zone I feel comfortable playing in.

This isn't advice or even a suggestion but if you're using both at once would there be anything wrong with drawing up your desired tri-mix dose and then also drawing the meds out of the reconstituted Edex vial into the same tri-mix syringe, with the tri-mix, so that you're only doing one dick stick?

Thanks for the Idea:

The Edex has a unique syringe so I don't think it would be necessarily easy to draw in the "correct" amount of Trimix -- or if it even has room for the additional draw ... but you got me thinking. At best I'd be guessing. But I'll look at that next time. The dick stick really does not bother me anymore in itself. And a little on the other side may otherwise help to saturate the area, Still, an idea I will consider. One cost benefit to me is the fact the Trimix will go a lot further ... with the "free stuff".

Get a big enough syringe to hold both. With the little needle removed from the Edex cartridge you should be able to stick the larger syringe's needle through the rubber where the Edex needle originally was. I think you will need to initially have the Edex needle on the cartridge to be able to push out the air to re-hydrate the dry powder.

I'll consider that. Not a bad idea and I'm all but sure I have the right size (standard) syringe which will fit both. I think I may just do it. Thanks Again. --- Danny

My urologist says yes. But I left pills completely behind after moving on to injections.
