I am finding some level of resentment along with my gratitude about Trimix. I don't understand why my body didn't work with Viagra or Cialis. I don't understand why I get morning wood and yet it won't stay around long enough to finish intercourse. It's frustrating and I wonder if it will ever come back or am I dependent on this miracle drug Trimix?

I love that the Trimix works, but I am bummed that I can only use it one time a day, which really puts a damper on the "all day in bed" that I used to be able to do just a few years ago. I've never been checked for VL so I don't know if that's my issue. I just know I'm relatively young, I work out a lot, not overweight and yet...dick stopped working.

I think it hit me more doing this trip because I had to be strategic about sex.

Again, grateful I have options, just some bit of grieving for how I got here...

There, whining over.

I'm in your same boat but I'm only 45. My dick started giving me problems when I was only 29. Pills were more convenient, but gave me bad side effects and slowly stopped working. Thank god for injections, but it does really limit your sex life. If you're single, you have to be strategic about when and where to have sex, when to reveal your problem, etc. If you're in a relationship, you have limits on how often you can have sex. It sucks. But not having boners sucked way more. I'll accept this and just be grateful for it. Someday it'll probably stop working and I'll get an implant, which is terrifying. You can do it whenever and whereever, but you have a foreign object in you that could break at anytime requiring surgery, plus you'll never have a natural boner again, which is sad.

This is a disease and there are no perfect cures. Only treatments with flaws. But we should be grateful there are treatments at all.
44, ED problems began around age 28 when I was on finasteride for hair loss, and also got circumcised so I lost a lot of sensation. Pills gave me bad headaches and other side effects. Now using trimix 30/1/20. So far so good.
