I used 5/16" three times, no luck. My Uro used 1/2" and I am now using 1/2" and
seem to have much better luck. I think every guy and every penis is different, what
works for some will not work for others. You just have to keep trying and find out
what works for you best and run with it. Every guy is different and every penis is
different and every injecting technique is different. Use what works for YOU.

Re: Needle length?
I need both lengths, 5/16 and 1/2 inch, because my corpora are at different depths depending on what side and where along the length I want to inject. If that weren't bad enough, the corpora need significantly different Trimix amounts for the same result. I use a spreadsheet to record all the injection parameters, and the results, such as rigidity, pain, and time to deflate.
I don't know about the other commentators, but my penis physiology is more complicated than the medical drawings.
