I started with 10 or 1 unit, I was more concerned with overdoing it, it had a reasonably good effect, although it felt harder in length than it did with girth if that makes sense. It felt hard but not full. It lasted at least 4 hours, although it was becoming shorter after about 3. I don t know how to rate it, how the scale goes. The ? I have is if I increase it another 10, is that simply going to make it harder and perhaps fuller, without it being effective longer, since the amount of time it was effective was good but not to long?

I appreciate the other comments and the pdf and the video to, for some reason they didn t show up till I posted a response. Is this message board odd that way? I ll have to make certain about the dosages, when I say I used 10 I m saying I used it with the syringe only 1 tenth full. a lot of good reading here to!

For some reason this board has assorted problems with most browser types, Internet Explorer often gives good results, I'm using Firefox and that can do strange things.
Try refreshing the page at any level whether its the comment listing or an individual comment thread by pressing Shift and reload, I find that helps to reveal any missing posts.

oifsps,

I was going to mention to you that most people on this board using Trimix are 100% ED (due to prostate surgery or radiation or maybe diabetes). Because you are not 'nerve dead' down there you must take any recommends with caution because they are coming from a different ED space that might require a lot more juice to work right. Good that you tried 10 units first (yes that is 1/10 of a 100 cc syringe). But No, doubling the amount while likely to give more hardness, will also make it last a lot longer. When you say it lasts 4 hours, the thing is, is it just still tumesced/swelled at that point or is it still a raging hard-on that you can bang nails with. The latter is the possible dangerous type that might need a trip to the ER to fix. I often have some residual hardness after 2 hours and if I double from my 10 units I can get it to stay pretty hard up to 4 hours. But I know how to get it to go down again and you might not. (One simple method I found to reduce an unwanted Trimix hardon is to do running-in-place while swinging a 5lb weight in each hand -- the adrenaline and increased heart rate is enough to make Big Jim call it quits). It all has to do with Fight or Flight reflexes from ancient times where having a hardon was not a good thing if you were running from a Mastodon or Sabre Tooth Cat ...).

So take care on your next shot -- maybe even try another 10u -- always trying twice -- one on right side .. then same amount next time on the left side .. gives you two chances to see if it is the right amount.. before moving on.

Sounds like you had a good start tho.

Also on the Hard But Not Full thing, I and others here feel that using a VED Pump regularly keeps your member used to being fully stretched and engorged (by Trimix) -- especially useful if you do not get nocturnal erections every night (or daily erections -- yeah a fond thing of the past )... Really cheap pumps are sometimes fine but I Think the VA may giveout expensive Medical Grade pumps? But a simple $100 Encore is a good middle of the road pump to do a good job -- or handy people make up their own from parts.

Good advice Jim, however the thought of you naked and running on the spot with dumbells certainly brought a smile to my face (will there be a video any time soon?)

There are various ways to reduce an unwanted and lasting hardon, in my experience it's a matter of what works best for the individual, the ones I can think of are as follows:

Running on the spot. (More comfortable in firm fitting underwear.)
Running/brisk walking up and down stairs.
Two Pseudoephedrine based Sudafed tablets and two 20mins later if no affect. (Care required if you have blood pressure problems)
Take a shower, various people have reported success with various temperatures, probably lukewarm is the place to start.
Cold compresses, not ice cold just cold tap water temperature applied to the groin area.
Whilst it usually won't reduce the hardon a cold compress to the penis may provide some short term relief from the discomfort.

At all times it must be remembered that a serious hardon lasting more than four hours has the potential to cause lasting damage to the penis, it's probably wise to work on four hours minus the time to get to an emergency room or other medical help when using any method of reduction.
Another thing I found was don't be tempted to squeeze it!!! It may bring about some momentary relief but the pain will increase as the blood flows back into the area.

These are just those that come to mind, I'm sure others will have more suggestions, feel free to add to the list if you do.
A lasting raging hardon can become quite painful, I don't know if anyone else has had any experience with any of the common painkillers such as paracetamol or ibuprofen etc.

The above is a mix of what I've learned and experienced over the years, if anyone else has had different experiences please let us know, after all we're all in this together!!

I also use Firefox and when I think some of the posts are missing, I click on the GO button at the nottom of the page and the newer posts, if any, show up. I guess that is similar to a refresh.

I'm very loathe to take drugs to counteract other drugs. Besides, antihistamines are contraindicated for anyone with diabetes or BPH. Based on my uro's recommendations and my own experience, I've discovered a few things that help tame the monster:

Pacing
Taking a leak
Reading a book or watching a show with absolutely no sexual or romantic references. Book is better. Virtually all TV shows have hot women.
Avoiding any stimulation whatsoever, including touching.
Cold compress behind the scrotum--cold tends to reduce swelling.
Cold rag wrapped around LIttle G.
Warm rag wrapped around LIttle G--warmth promotes blood flow. Priapism is when blood is trapped and won't flow out.

Oddly, the same thing doesn't work every time.

I agree. I don't use my Edex injection medication unless I know I have 4 Sudafeds available for use after sex.
