Trying aprostadil again after a bad experience

I’ve got my dosage adjusted now where I don’t have to worry at all about going soft (eliminating angst) but not so much where I stay rock hard after ejaculating. I posit that there could be a “ married” dose and a “ dating” dose. Even a higher dating dose should be well short of causing any risk of priapism. I haven’t tried injections yet outside of wedlock but I plan to do so in due course if binge sex is on the table ( I gave up on mistresses several years ago due to my ED, not to mention the stress). I’m pretty sure I could do three rounds we the right dose.

Sorry for the post. I cant add to much to the thread....Yet . There is some excellent advice regarding the mental effects of ED and injecting. Our mental state has a great deal to do with our physical state.

A pretty normal tadalafil/cialis on-demand dose is 20 mg, so you might want to try upping your previous 15 mg dose. Tadalafil is also different from Viagra in that it stays in your system longer but for a lot of guys it takes much longer to kick in, so for best results they take it the morning or even the the night before.

Alprostadil ache is common. In my case I won't get the ache as long as I have sex while I'm hard. If you just let it sit, though, it will ache.

Also, yes, high anxiety can overcome alprostadil. The mixes with papaverine are more likely to punch through anxiety and don't ache as much, but are said by some doctors to be more likely to cause worsening ED than alprostadil alone.

Really? I dont get injections. Some say all penile injections bypass anxiety and then sometimes they don't. If they didnt hoqw would they be used for doppler tests? There's no way anyone's getting a natural erection in that kind of setting. The ones I would be using contain Aviptadil and PheNTalomine.

I have just started using Aprostadil (25mcg strength )and learning how many units to use. No pain. just the prick It's great to have an active member again. I am wondering if the pain is an indication of your prescription being too strong.

I've had a couple Doppler tests, one with two injections of trimix and another with a high dose of alprostadil, and they couldn't get me hard. So effectiveness of the injections is indeed dependent on anxiety level in my experience.

Doubt it. I had literally a tiny dose.. 2.5 units I could get a better erection without anything.

In my limited injection experience I think the anxeity and issues with needles is going to make them a non starter for me. Its frustrating because pills dont always work... but alone I can get a great erection most of the time.

So theres nothing else between pills and implant..ED options really are poor given the importance to so many men.

Never-enough. What was the strength of your alprostadil? Mine is 20mcg (you can get much stronger). I am using 20 Units of my strength. I might try 25. It is working for me. Having a sympathetic partner helps. A lot of ED is also in the mind, but we can 'learn' or re-learn new mental images of ourselves.
